Go around to your local banks and ask about the visa giftcards. My wife works at a bank here in the states and sells these visa gift cards. You can get any amount over thirty dollars put on them. I can verify they do work online. So go check at your local banks to find one....good luck.

This guy obviously aint gonna change his mind even though it is a FACT online transactions are safer than using a card in a shop! Leave him be, the reason he cant get EF is ONLY from paranoia. NOT from the fault of EA.
What the heck? Who are you guys?. I didn't write in here to have an arguement.

Anyway, have you tried contacting EA? Perhaps they have alternate payment methods available that they don't advertise.
I agree but i use a debit card because i cant overspend. Credit cards are just sooo easy to abuse and get into debt (if your not paranoid lol)
I have 2 credit cards maxed out and i refuse to get another (until they are paid off )

Being para about online use of cards is just like peeps being scared of flying. Flying is the safest way to travel, yet some peeps just wont get into a plane even tho they drive every day, and are 10 times more likely to be killed in a car crash!
        Its a disease

Not trying to have an argument mate, just trying to point out you are being a bit unreasonable by refusing to use a card online even though it is a fact it is safer than using it in a shop.

Yea but how about the chances of surviving a car crash vs chances of surviving an airplane crash? :p

I wrote many posts above that I will look into Money Mart. Many months ago I did ask for this type of card at a bank to purchase a software online. They didn't have it.

This guy obviously aint gonna change his mind even though it is a FACT online transactions are safer than using a card in a shop! Leave him be, the reason he cant get EF is ONLY from paranoia. NOT from the fault of EA.
Yeah..of course I am going to be paranoid or upset that I am not able to play for awhile, until Servers start hosting Reg BF2 or even yet with SF. Some servers are not using EF, but the ping is high. The servers I go into are hosting EF. How am I suppose to feel........happy?

LOL yeah but stastics still show you are more likely to die in a car crash!
Anyway i would rather die than survive a car crash loosing my arms, then i wouldnt be able to play BF2 and life would not be worth living

If you get yourself in debt if your fault, not the credit card. Like right now if you had one, you can buy the game. But nooooooo, you will get yourself in debt, maybe you dont deserve the game. Anywho best of luck and i hope you get your game bro.......
P.S. I have several CC with over 30,000 credit limit, and i dont own nothing on them. Only use them when i want to buy something online. Must of the time i wont buy nothing unless i can pay with by the next paycheck

Wow. This is the funniest thread I've ever read.

Grow up and use a debit card. Everyone I know has a debit card or credit card. These are the things you use to purchase things online....

                      Re: BF2:Removed from Shelves

Seriously you shouldn't worry about entering your CCard # into a website to purchase something $10. I mean EA is a big business and they will do almost anything to keep that number and your information secure more than any other company. Besides, buying a little card to buy something online is pretty stupid. People can still "steal" your identity just having your name. From there, they can just go ahead and sign you up with a CCard without your permission and start buying crap. Anyways I'm just saying don't be so worried. It's so much easier from some little outlet store to take your credit card number and use it than a big business.

Exactly, infact these are things you use to purchase nearly everywhere! Infact online is now the safest way to do it but NOOOOO some peeps would rather hand the card over to some spotty guy in a shop who is being paid to secretly swipe you details lol
No one touches you card online, that is why its safer!
When your in a restruant, you get the bill and think nothing of handing over your card, they take it away and bring it straight back. Great i have ny card back :) What you dont know is they guy has just swiped your card with his little swiper under his shirt and CLONED your card!
Ive posted enough on this subject now, made my point and gonna shut up

What you guys do with your cards is your business, not mine. So, what I do with my life, even ccards is my business. I am not out to looking for a cc handed over to me. This thread got twisted so bad. That is how the BF2 community is "Twisted".

Why is it twisted? You are complaining you cant buy EF. Yet you have said you have a bank card but not willing to use online because of security. We are only trying to explain using your card online is safer than anywhere else. Nothing twisted about that.
EF is available to purchase online and if you dont like it dont do it.

Here in the U.S. those gift cards you can buy in a bank
Should be able to do the same in Canada.
If your close to the border cross and buy it down here.

                              Cheers

He asked for a simple solution, and you guys decide to turn it into an arguement.

It's basic human flaws. While he may not like using a credit card, you may not like using a certain brand of shampoo. Who knows?

Enough of the damn arguing and flamming. If you don't have a helpful solution for him, DO NOT POST.
