if u make 75k+ a year you should still file a complaint. Its not your fault the game is broken its thiers. You should get your money back if requested. Use the BBB youll get your money back. Its a major pain in the arse for EA who deserves to defend their business practices

you people do realize you DON'T HAVE to play battlefield 2 or any of its expansions/booster packs right? I mean if you have such a hard-on for EA and don't like the way they do business and are just going to bitch about what a waste and how ****ty everything is...then just stop playing the game. Go play CS:S or something and leave those of us who actually enjoy the game for what its worth(entertainment) alone.

When their is bad marketting going on, tt is best to say something, than nothing at all. Their is going to be people purchasing BF2 in the stores, and when they play it. They will find out they need EF as well. Only way to get Euro force for now is online. BF2 hasn't been out for a year (June 22nd) and already their is two expansions. "Special Forces", and "EuroForce". I do have Special Forces, but not "EuroForce". Also the game is messed up. Yes, a patch just came out and only 5 fixes. Think this kind of selling technique is up for everyone? BF2 hasn't gotten you yet, but another game will. This has to stop, somewhere. Eventually with the community pushing out people who like to speak their minds, isn't very helpfull and not being civil by acting like sickos and bully wanna bees. People who speak, is out to do everyone a favour. Even for the future. I wrote to BBB before on another game, they will not even respond or even look at the problem. And now that is another problem.

.....If in the process of trying to figure out what it was that we fuxked up. You only have 3 chances to get it right. After that you will have to wait for a week to get the game you paid for today.

Im still waiting for you to list the 3 or more legitimate problems that are not caused by people no being able to type their names properly. For your reference AGAIN!

1) They didnt "fuxked" up anything, YOU are the one that couldnt work out a simple instruction.

2) If you messed it up 3 times, just start another account with the name you accidently entered (3 times no less :laugh: ) and play that for a week, then change it back to your normal player name when it resets the time limit. After you YOU are the one that can't read, i seriously don't understand how you can blame anyone but yourself for that.

3) By research, he means reading this forum and seeing the other morons that typed there name wrong ( :laugh: ) and the FAQ that states clearly you can only change your name 3 times in a week, then you might have payed more attention to your fingers and what they typed the third time.

By your own admission (your post saying you wernt going to buy it until 5 patches had been released and the bugs been sorted out) you had been browsing ther forum LONG before you bought it, so had plenty of chances to read about other people lack of typing skills (like your own) and obviously changed your mind and bought it based on people's experiences.... or did you just change your mind on a whim and mash the keyboard with your head when it came to entering your details :laugh:

I can't actually come up with a good reason why I think I need to explain myself to you.

I am still convinced what EA games is doing wrong with respect to releasing a product with known problems.

They compounded that problem by releasing more patches that further exacerbated the problem.

They did all of this knowing there were two other expansion packs in the works that had the potential for even more problems.

And they continued to accept peoples money even though they had knowledge thier products were defective.

Many people who buy this product today have no way of knowing that there may not even be servers they will be able to play on since many of the servers have moved on to EF and or SP.

It is no longer just a $50.00 game. If someone is buying it today. They will also have to buy SF and EF if they want to have access to servers to play on. EA should be discontinuing the sale of the "as is" vanilla BF and be releasing a complete package.

Furthermore. Anyone buying this game may very well be assuming they will be able to play this game as they have others in the past based upon the fact thier computer meets the minimum specs recommended by EA, even though we all know thats not true.

You can defend thier business practices all you want. But I think that says a lot about you. And because of that. I have deemed you stray voltage and no longer deserving of an further explanations.

And BTW EA games IS a Game Manufacturer since they purchased the controlling interest in DICE's stock.

Took me half a hour to register, download and to start playing the game.

Then seeing how much problems some in the community have with this really explain a lot on the overall attitude!

For most of them its probably a wonder their PC still boots up correctly


Its because of them PC gaming will die and all publishers will move to console!

I totally understand regarding the practice of EA and also Dice. I really do not understand the community of BF2 who support this kind of marketting behaviour. It is like they do not want to understand the problem and do ignore it, even though the game functions ok on their system. Functions ok on my system to, although their is bugs in the game, they resist. They are only thinking of themselves and not as a whole. Its a growing trend. They, will one day feel the pinch, and look back on this, and regret it. Best to say something than nothing at all.

In other words you now realise there isnt 3 problems, only 1 suffered by a handful of people, the "catastrophic failure" (people i do feel sorry for and have spent time trying to help)

Everyone else with problems are the idiots that can't read or type there name correctly, i.e YOU and they try and blame EA for this when they should be blaming the English teacher instead, your posts are like all the other ones i read from mindless idiots with no concept of how computers or programming computer games work.

Minimum specs are just that MINIMUM, the game will load that is all, go and look at the box of the original Half Life (p233, 16 meg RAM, NO 3d card) and then try and play it with those components, or any other game for that matter at minimum specs, what MOST people that know the slighest bit about PC's will understand is that Recomended specs is the important part, and much higher then that for good details/framerate.

But lets not get away from the problem YOU are complaining about, your inability to type your own name, and then trying to blame a games publisher for that :laugh:

Thier products are not defective, YOU are defective as are all the other cry babies like you that feel the need to blame others for your own stupidity and mistakes. The fact that there are always between 20,000 and 50,000 people playing this game at any one time proves this point beyond any doubt.

There will ALWAYS be vannila only servers for people that havent got EF or AF while there is still a need for them, SF is a seperate game in effect so it bears no relation wether people have it or not.

You are in the minority, most people can read and type there own name, do us all a favour and go play on consoles, come back to the PC when your all grown up and can type your own name without more then 3 trys... you lose the internet... goodbye :laugh:

You can only be civil to people that are not idiots i'm afraid, anyone that blames someone else for not being able to type there own name is past the point of no return. especially when they complain to a watchdog for their own stupidity :laugh:
