The wording could have been a little bit better, maybe Battlefield2 login instead of gamespy login.

Even with that everyone I've talked to with the exception of what I read here and 1 person in my clan had no issue installing EF.

    What am I saying...I don't know...but I'm like Teaves's posts :)

I could care less whether the euro pack is well made or not..

Im just not going to allow EA to keep scamming me for 10 bucks every
couple months for a few maps, a few weps, and a new uniform or two..

gimme a break, only 1 out of 10 maps they make are well thought out
anyhow.. half of them are lopsided as hell, and the programming skills
are just about the worst Ive ever seen in a major game release.

No support, No REAL effort to fix problems from the beginning. Just
another scam by EA to get more money.. just like the 'Ranked' Server scam.

You do not "NEED" EF to play bf2. You can play it just fine without it.

Past few nights I was kicked out of Reg BF2 servers for not having EF. I searched other servers that do not have EF, and not very many do, and the pings were high. And I do have IDSL. My best servers (And ranking) are using EF. Everyone I know is ticked off that we can not play BF2 anymore. We, will have to wait. Also wait for the EF to hit the shelves. Also looking into other FPS instead of EF in the mean time. We are fed up. Nothing I can do. I do not by online. Their is reasons.

wow. Ive been vistiing these forums for a long time to just read up on things. And i came across this lovly thread and felt so compelled to post that i decided to join....so hi!

With that out the way. I downloaded EF on tuesday before EA even mentioned it was out. I loged into my downloader account and bought it with no prollem. Then is asked me for my username or whatnot and i was like...what are you tlaking about?? then i put 2 and 2 together and realized Ah ha! its my s/n and password for bf2.

When i entered that i got some kind of error message some of you say you got, i was like wtf? so i hit reload.....and my prollem was fixed, that simple. So i proceded to download and install and played it within at least 30 min with NO prollems what so ever.

I for one have experinced no bugs no nothing with EF, and even when EA had that big prollem with the patch release i still experienced no bugs what so ever. So i have no complaints toward EA at all.

$9.99 for the booster pack....thats all? i expected to pay more. Even my g/f whos family is on the edge of poverty was like...only 10 bucks?

So yea. chill with the whining. BBB is not gonna do anything because EA has done nothing wrong, So therefore they are not at fault whatso ever.

And on another note. you had also mentioned that it takes "so long" for them to fix prollems. Do you have any idea what the process of making a patch or a hotfix for a game takes? I didnt thing so, so sit back and shut up.

teaves, as i was reading everything, im with you 110% on everything.

Re: Link to the Better Buisness Bureau

I think EA is being a bit heavy handed with their licensing. First we get BF2 and find out you can only install it for one account on a PC and that that account must have admin rights(for PB, if nothing else).

Now we find that not only is the game limited in that fashion, but now they've introduced an even more restrictive method of limiting additionally to a gamespy account and only allowing people with multiple accounts to switch 3 times/week.

Like I said Teaves... you are stray voltage.

Bang your head on the keyboard all you want. You cannot change the fact that EA has screwed up. Nor the fact that the manner in which they are conducting themselves is fraudulent

And I don't agree these problems are being experienced by a handful of people.

But you tell the story anyway that makes you happy.
