Do you ppl hear yourselves? this crap which should be downloaded like a patch now charges u like ten bucks...sigh...

Since when did a patch give you THREE maps, FOUR vehicles, SEVEN weapons, a new army, and a new award?

If this were a patch, it'd be one of the biggest patches I've ever seen!

Epic did release an Unreal Tournament 2004 patch that was pretty huge and that included new maps, etc. etc. etc., but besides that I can't think of a single patch that would be near this size.

I DL'd it & installed no problems. I played Operation Smokescreen & Wooohoooo were there alot of armor. There were armor battles everywhere. AT & Engineers dream map. The new Tanks are sweet also.

As for the backing up the file so you dont have to DL it again ... Just copy the Electronic Arts folder in your Program files (place it on a disk or another harddrive). If you have to reinstall everything, then just Reinstall BF2, Patch it to the latest patch, Drop the Elec. Arts folder back in the program files & then open up your Downloader & it will say "Install Now" instead of "DL Now"! Also if you had purchased the SF pack through the downloader then it is ALSO located in the same folder. Just do the same thing as I mentioned above to reinstall SF.

As for the not being able to connect because it says to purchase EF, you have to make sure your Gamespy account name is the same as your log in name for BF2 (without the prefix if you added one to you name) If it is not the same then go to Gamespy & edit your account name to match your BF2 log in name. Good to go!
