While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Id love to be paid by a forum company .01 each time I deleted an irrelevant or pointless post on a forum site. I'd make a fortune and save people Billions of hours in wasted reading time.
Don't worry you don't need to run EA Downloader all the time, only for downloading patches and expansions(not that I've used it for patches). 22min till lift off!!!!!!!!
I'm not getting it if the downloader needs to be left running all the time.
Also I noticed that when installing the downloader it tried to create a core.exe -silent reg key in the autostart section.
When I blocked it, it then tried to disable my reg watcher.
Anyone else notice anything like this?
Once the downloader is installed and running, go to Edit > Autostart and uncheck "autostart on windows startup."
I noticed that it put an entry into my msconfig (I keep a tight reign on what starts up on boot-time on my box) and found this in the application itself.
Edit: what I haven't found is a way to back up the downloaded file. I'd prefer not to have to re-download it if I ended up reinstalling Windows. Not only that, but I'd like to make a disc with the game on it.

Core.exe is the EA Downloader main program on your computer; it's what the shortcut points too. I would try uninstalling EA Downloader, re-downloading and re-installing it.
Yet another great big pile of poo the euro-fighter handles like a peice of crap worse then the f-35b so the migs will dominate the jet maps.
