exactly... thats not a bad idea... if the enemy isn't in plain sight; i.e.- you do not have a clear line of sight on the enemy, the red tag shouldn't show up at all... that would really help add some power to smokescreens and foliage...

In DICE/EA's INFINITE wisdom , they have programmed the game in such a way that simply resting your cursor for more than a second on enemy troops causes HUGE, UNMISSABLE RED TEXT to appear above the perfectly environment matched ghille suit that might as well say, "SHOOT HERE, HE'S OVER HERE, SHOOT ME, SHOOT ME!". So I ask any who might be able to explain this logic to me...

Figure flattering? Maybe all snipers are fat because of all the lazing around and the usual uniforms make their arse look big?
