Muddy, I know it's not what you want to hear but if you keep being told to get more RAM then why don't you just do it man??? I mean, as far as upgrades go, it is the cheapest thing you can do to upgrade your PC and it will benefit your rig in more ways than just gaming. RAM is pretty cheap nowadays and even though I have a 9800 Pro and I'm happy with the 1.5 gigs of Ram that I have, I'm totally gonna go out and buy another stick of 1024. I mean, it's gonna cost me 121.99 CANADIAN so I'm all over that. And get this.... I'm having NO PROBLEMS WITH B2 LOL. I'm just getting it so I can bring a few more settings up is all :)

P.S. I beleive the mac address of your nic is under "Physical address" when you do the ipconfig/all

You want me to put another 2GB opf ram to go with my existing 2GB? This is not to do with our rigs jabroni, indent that into your thick skull and come up with something more constructive.

This is seriously amusing reading the first post saying that there were no software or hardware changes and the problem just one day occurred "out of the blue" - so to speak - and everyone is suggesting hardware upgrades.:laugh: The problem's cause might have at least been established by page #7 had all those with input read the first post and not suggested solutions they pull out of their asses,

Something I did that helped remove my stutter was to take off the cover, use some compressed air, and blow out the dust from the fans, etc. I had alot on my processor fan (obviously), but I was amazed at how much collected in my VIDEO CARD fan!! That may help some. :-]

I think we are all aware that this lag is not because of ****ty computers. Read up! Please if you are going to post nonsense and things that have already been said, do it elsewhere. We are trying to find a solution to this problem and if certain children here want to toss in pointless and stupid remarks then just ignore them.

On another note, There are a few (hundred) threads on EA's forum about this bug and EA is not even addressing them. There is talk that EA UK is helping out the community (IN A MATURE MANNER) so i would head over there and read up, i havent yet.

I would like to know, do all of you have 15 FPS online? If you dont know can you check? I think that would help a great deal to find out if we all have the same FPS drop.

I may set up a mailing list with everyones names and send it off to EA or make a thread on EA UK and EA US forums.

For nine months my game ran perfectly until around three months ago after an unknown sound issue that effected many gamers.

The sound issue where the speakers would screech as the game froze for around two seconds, then it seemed from what I was reading here upon this forum, different players had different problems from lag to cut sound quality.

My sound was fine after the initial screech of my speakers and the freeze in game, however throughout the rest of the game it would stutter as many including myself are getting at present.

Over this three month period the lag issue has not been resolved unlike the sound issue which disappeared a long time ago.

At first I waited patiently for the latest patches at the time to arrive in the hope of it sorting out the issue, they did not.

I’ve contacted EA, their words are that the tech team are on it so bear with them (this was over a month and a half ago), to that I’m an isolated issue, and that they are not experiencing any problems their end as they all apparently play the game.

They have stated that no one aside from myself has come forward to them about this, I’ve pointed out this forum in which Dave, the person I spoke with many a time then asked me to send in a e-mail containing my Dx-diag and a an explanation of what is happening to him.

Since that e-mail, I’ve had nothing back aside from an automated response that they got the e-mail and that I’d be sent any information useful.

It’s been going on so long now that I have got used to it and just don’t bother playing the game like I used to and will not even contemplate buying Euro forces or whatever its called or that new futuristic version they are working on and advertise every time I log in.

The only change I’ve seen is that where as before it would lag as soon as I finished choosing my character, now it can be anywhere from 25 to 45 minutes of decent game play then, it chugs and stutters until I close the game and come back to it a little later.

(On this, the game still as always runs perfectly fine single player as it once had done Multi.)

I once tried and tried again all the things I was told, even did a little research myself into Punkbuster, but these days I don’t waste my time, I feel from my and others experiences that its nothing I can resolve, its in EA’s hands.

It’s clear that they are incompetent at dealing with this issue.

I’ve never seen such poor quality in an online game in my ten years of experience, the fact it has been left unresolved for such a long period of time astounds me. Beyond anything else their negligence just outright ****es me off.

It would have to be one godlike game for me to ever consider buying another product from EA again, even then maybe…..

I was playing the game wonderfully with 1.21 on high settings anti aliasing X6
As sooon as i got 1.22 I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS
I CANNOT play the game without having ping of under 200 and extreme shuttering making the game intolerable. 1.22 has killed my game!

Hey I've been following this thread for awhile. I just checked another thread about this same issue and they said turn off the voip. I did that and lag is gone. Don't know if this has been mentioned already or if it will work for you.

I also turned off eax too. Forgot to mention that. I'm not sure if that is a problem too. So maybe you have to turn eax and voip off.
