That PKM comes with an ammo bag---USE IT

I'm standing between two supply guys who're doing NOTHING besides looking around with their pkms. I'm asking for ammo... asking... anybody... anybody... bueler? bueler?

Well, I ended up having to TK one, take his kit, drop some ammo bags, then pick my kit back up.

Yes, I will TK for ammo. :p

It is incredibly annoying, its so rare to see ammo bags unless people are nade spamming.
Most medics ignore you when you need first aid as well with the connected timers now medics wont heal as its not as it may prevent them reviving 3 people in quick succession.

Don't think the tk thing is cool, but I definately understand the urge. I'm playing mashtuur the other day, and I get seriously wounding taking down a couple of guys with my mg36. The is a medic right in front of me. I ask for a medic, and what does he do....he runs off down the road without dropping a bag or two.

The worst is when you are playing AT and you are defending a flag from multiple tanks/apcs and run out of rockets. You would think the 3 support guys in the immediate vicinity would help you out (and help themselves out since they get a point and tanks go bye-bye) but noooooo.

This is one of the reasons that squad play is so important in BF2 (IMO). Join a squad and talk to each other, the game suddenly takes on a whole new dimension. Don't get me wrong, i'm not flaming anyone that has posted here, just an observation, I used to spend time running around lonewolf looking for ammo and just dying instead of being healed. Now I join a squad and stick with them. Even if its a squad of lonewolfs after a while they start to play like a squad if you show that you can help.

I can certainly sympathize...was on Mashtuur this weekend and sat right in front of a guy with a PKM asking for ammo for two minutes (was completely out of everything, no rifle ammo, no pistol ammo, no grenades)...to the point of laying down right in front of him...nada...nichts...nothing...the idiot just gets up and runs away...I seriously wonder about people sometimes...crying shame I couldn't catch up to the idiot to poke him in the back with the only thing I had left (knife)...

I at times have got to wonder if the autobalance thing is all screwed up...I have been stuck on the most n00btastic teams I have ever seen the last couple of weeks...ugh.

Pistol shot in the leg will get their attention without giving you any negative points.

As a "good" medic i always enjoy helping others out.... but for the love of good.... i am yet to find a Supply person to drop ammo for me....

so it ends up me tking him... nicking his ammo ... then reviving him...

then he tries to kick me off the server which makes me laugh...

damn supply ppl damn them all!

understand the frustration, but I wouldn't TK for it...

And yeah, its frustrating to be running after a guy for ammo/health, and having him oblivious to what's going on. Playing with a group on Ventrilo helps a lot with this, we usually work to end up on the same team, and then work together - medic, support, at, assualt, etc... really helps with the gameplay exp.

I play supply quite a bit, not so much the last few weeks, and I know what you mean, it may seem like they are ignoring you. I have felt that way too as other types. I usually seem to get supplied when i need it.

As supply i try to hand out my bags when im not fighting, sometimes people get mad and shoot me, I just am not reading the words on the screen cause i am doing something else. As US its easier cause i hear it in english. I am not purposefully withholding ammo.

The other reason is i dropped all my bags so i have none.

Now i think i see why i have been TK'd a few (i can think of two or three that confused me) times that i didn't understand.

Some rounds on Karkand i have almost exclusivley done resupply, running back and forth through the streets at the first MEC checkpoint throwing bags at people. Luckily commander put down some resupply so i could restock and runn ammo to the boys. Still had to fight a few times as i saw enemies, so i probably had people mad at me then.

I always try to get to a guy with his ammo symbol up, if i happen to look at the map, which i mostly see when in supply mode, not combat mode.

I still think TK is wrong in this situation, you don't know what the person is doing or if he even has any ammo bags left. That said i do understand your frustration. Mabye instead of losing 3 points (-2 for his death and -1 on your assist/teamwork) you should just suicide. Or else you could hit up the commander for a supply crate (lots of luck).

Well people should be looking at their mini-map very frequently, so the language or not watching text is no excuse :p. The ammo icon comes up on the map when someone calls for it. Thats why i dont get why people are so ignorant of others while medic, engineer or support.
