Thanks for all the feedback. One of my original questions remains though... doing this, one would HAVE to make corrections... if almost every tv guided is near laser straight, even against moving targets, is that still legit, or might someone have an autoaimer working for them? Again, just trying to know what I'm up against. Thanks.

You are probably not seeing the (minor) corrections...
BTW: even an auto aimer would have to correct for moving targets...

Once you actually fire the tv missile, whatever the copter is doing is irrelevant. You're not making course corrections based upon the POV of the copter, you're using the POV of the missile---hence, TV MISSILE.

Personally, I don't think you should be able to switch seats in flight in the jets or the attack copters. Not only does it allow you to play both roles, but you can also instantly break missile targeting.

even IF you COULD switch and fire fast enough
ie before the helo starts to spin
duh - it would then START to spin as you were guiding the TV missle!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you CANNOT keep it hovering STILL
AND be in seat 2 at the same time

I have 250 hrs in helo and admit I could not do it well
but I DO believe some of you can
I see it ALL THE TIME in the game
first thing we yell out is "he has no gunner"
again IT IS OBVIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now for those that do this in game
guess I am lucky - because most of you miss us
now for those that do this
and the helo DOES NOT EVEN Move
and there is NO gunner
and then the pilot exclaims
well - I DO have a gunner
and he does not
-well -instant ban for hack in that situation

how do we know there is no gunner??
well - u fly by and see the nametag without +1
and/or ask admin to confirm, which is EZ to do

I made more than 1 public challenge here to have someone demonstrate this. Not shooting just shooting alone but getting perfect hits vs hard moving enemies while flying alone . If no one wants to accept the challenge, then how about posting a FRAPS video???

Switch fire and switch under some cicumstances won't make the helo sping.

Also TPG have you checked your servers for a rootkit yet? A helo that isn't spinning and still guiding must be a server side hack. Now get your paranoid ass out of this thread.

The reason nobody will ablidge you, is that you would post such a fraps movie to every website calling it Hax and such...

Before we know it, Dice will nerf solo flying...

Umm ok its this simple:

Whether the heli is spinning or not, that does not effect how you guide the tv missile. You can be spinning upside down and you will guide the missile the same as if you were aiming your chopper right at your target.

You can guide the missile in flight, and have to adjust for the movement of your target.

To kill a target you aim a bit to the left, F2 and then right click and then left click....if you get it correct, when you left click the missile should go straight to your target....

Like I said...adjust your aim for moving targets.

I can't use fraps becaues my comp isn't up to the task but its def possible and quite easy.

Was that to me or just people in general? Because I have no problem soloing TV missiles.

Anyways for some reason the game is messed up it won't let me either:

A. Use the in game system to bind keys
B. Use my g15 to use macros to bind keys (I tried it one time for this very reason)

Tip was for you couse you can fly solo, but still use F1 and F2, which is not as fast as other methodes...
(no offence meant here, it's a genuine tip)

I always manually program my controls.con to double-program keys...

It takes a lot of practise and knowledge of those spin dynamics to 99% counter it...
