I've been seeing this pop up more and more often, and I'm starting to wonder if it's legit or not. I'll see someone flying solo in a chopper, I'll be in a moving tank, I see the chopper drift off backwards, nosing up, and then BOOM, TV guided to the face, with little to no correction. I thought
1) when you move from the pilot to the gunner's seat, the chopper IMMEDIATELY starts to lose power and drift off to the left or right, thus requiring huge corrections in the tv guided to keep the missile on target. Almost every time I see this happen, the nose is pointing up, but the missile comes LASER straight with almost no corrections. given the need for the TV view, I would think this is impossible.
2) When the chopper starts to drift, it loses a visual on the target; i.e., with the chopper drifting left/right, the tv camera view drifts the same way.. I was under the belief that once the tv window loses visual, you cannot "move" the missile back onto the original target as you can't "see" it on your tv screen. Correct/Incorrect?
3) I was also led to believe that a chopper cannot hover if there is no pilot in the pilot's seat; once you switch seats in the chopper it will cut power and drift no matter what. True/Untrue?
Just trying to clarify this, as I've had more than 1 person come to the server I play on and do this... just seems really dodgy to me. I apologize for the multiple questions in the single post, but any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

PS: If anyone knows of a website that has a video or a way to confirm this can be done, I'd love to know where I can find it.
