This is a thread dedicated to things that I noticed that aren't necessarily cheating, but still real jerk things to do.

(disclaimer) excuse me in advance for the ****ing and moaning but someone has to say it.

You might be a BF2 jerk if. . . . . . . .

-. . .you try to get someone kicked off the server just for killing you.


- . . .you start a mutiny vote at the very beginning of the round without letting the new commander even prove himself. Then you start a new mutiny vote every subsequent 10 seconds. Because, you feel you are a genius strategist and should be the commander all the time.


-. . .you punish for accidental TK's (do the 15 second "wait for the sorry rule")



That is all I got for now, but I'm sure there’s a whole bunch more. and remember kids "No one likes a jerk":)

...if you're next in line for a jet, and after you jump in, some freakface on your team puts C4 all over it and waits for you to take off, only to blow you out of the sky!

You take off in a BH "ACROSS THE CARRIER DECK" with 3 guys on-board. Lifting off right in front of an oncoming jet that cant avoid you and get everybody killed. The pilot gets 4 tks and then you punish him because you think the jet pilot is an idiot LOL

Take off in a jeep or an apc solo style at the beginning of a round leaving you're whole team saying "Hey, I need a ride."

Ask for a ride, then upon me comming over to pick you up, you get run over because you don't know that you HOLD DOWN ON E. Follow this with a punish and you might be a Battlefield 2 jerk. <------ One of my favs. Really get's the steam comming out of my ears.

---the admin tells you if you get in the chopper you will be kicked

---you kill me with any weapon...I should be allowed to live infinatly through out the round

...you see the tank I'm repairing and decide you need it. Most times dying and loosing the tank within seconds of 'jackin' it.

...you hijack the HUMMV that I'm using to shoot down choppers (defending this flag) and drive us to the farthest flag away then bail out right in front of an enemy tank.

...your strategy for command is to send "ATTACK HERE" to whatever flags are being taken, without any consideration for the fact that MY SQUAD IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CITY!

*...you see me crawling to remain hidden from enemy view till I can get set up for my shot - and you RUN to me dropping ammo and medic bags all over me then run off.

I know you mean well, but for all those medics.

. . . . if your a medic and you shock someone who is still in the line of fire, getting yourself killed and the person you shocked killed twice

-after losing 2 rounds you constantly state "THIS TEAM SUCKS, U R THE WORST EVER!!!1!" but just don't leave, change team or join a squad. Really, nobody likes people who bitch. Not only that, it throws off my aim.

-you're the last one on the battlefield, all the points have been taken by the enemy and still won't start a squad. After which you decide to capture a wide open point and get killed by artillery fire.

-despite the huge armored force the enemy controls rolling down the map, you still won't change to anti-tank for few minutes. Really, this is my biggest gripe. There'll be a tank, an apc and 2 jeeps driving down karkand and half the team is made up of snipers or medics. Can't get to that first point? I'm not surprised.

if... you punish your side's jet pilot for a stupid AA missile lock that should never have happened.

its well risky flying a jet now. Because its very easy to TK or TD with the AA missiles.

I was on Wake and got punished instantly when my missiles flew right past the enemy plane directly in front of me (who didnt even try to evade) and went on to hit a friendly jet miles ahead of him (who was turning).

I mean, how can I help that?

Just so everyone's clear on this - you can't spawn in unless your team has at least one flag. That includes spawning on squad leaders.

Either way, I agree - join a squad!!
