Also, lately i've fallen in love with the Saiga12k, before I couldn't kill anyone with it, emptying my clip, enemy still alive and I die, now I can take out 2 guys with one clip, quick reload and keep shooting.
Even considering the new LMG/support buffs in 1.2, I'd still go with the G36C ... that's the gun I pick as my 'default' every time ... and the C4 comes in handy also
Great single-shot accuracy at long range, good full-auto accuracy at short range ... what's not to love?
Are you serious? (No, really, I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean.) I think that's exactly the way it needs to be. If a sniper lets his position be discovered, why shouldn't an assault rifle be abe to give him what for from medium range?
Oh, yeah, sure... if the Assualt player catches the sniper off guard he should have a chance.
Yet, if it's a Sniper vs. Assault at medium/long (100-200m in game) ranges while both players have each other's position fixed; the sniper should win everytime. Unless assault launches a well placed M203 or somthing.
That's just the way I think it should be.
...and what do you mean, " If a sniper lets his position be discovered"? A sniper's camo doesn't do anything. He sticks out just like every other player in the game, and it's not like he's going to drop you in one shot. Not to mention UAV, Scan, Commander Spots, General Location Spots. A sniper is so easy to find it's sad. They would be better of being a dark skinned Spec-Ops player so they could at least blend into a squad when needed.
