All High (Except Dynamic Lighting on medium) on 1024x768 w/ 2xAA. Runs avg of 45fps. Sound settings on Hardware, High.

I get a alright FPS when flying, but further than that it's quite crap. I play Low-Medium and I hardly get above 60 FPS. Mainly around 30-60 FPS with drops to 20. On the start of the round I got huge stuttering.

I have a crap comp:
intel 2.6Ghz
768Mb RAM
120GB HD
6600GT

i run everything on medium with a res of 1280x1024 and i get an fps around high 30s to high 40s most of the time. when im flying, it can go up as high 90 though.

No real glitchy/lag problems except in the very beginning of a round there is a few seconds of lag.

have u test that in multiplayer or single player?
cuz i didnt tried it in single player...but in multiplayer..i have crappy result at all medium/texture filtering at high/x2AA ...like 40fps..and sometimes 25 ;/

What takes less cpu/graphics card higher or lower res.

It would seem higher res would take more memory/cpu. But does it make that much difference?

runs ok average 37.5 fps all settings on medium, with 2xaa @1280x1024 LCD native resolution looks best. Slight lag now & again, depending on what server im on.

I have had NO problems since the game was released.

i run it all on medium at 1280x1024 with 2x aa and it runs perfect, altohugh only after a fresh reload and a degfrag before that i couldn't use aa at all and it still didn't run perfect.

Surprising seeing as i have 1gb of smokey corsair ram a p4 2.53ghz cpu and a 256mb agp 6800GT.

on 1280 X 1204 on my Viewsonic 19" LCD
4aa and on Quality setting.
NV driver 83.90 which made a difference.

I have everything set on Max icluding X-fi sound with only Dynamin lighting medium. I get 30-60 fps and the game runs great and looks great.
it jumps down to 30+ in the most intese firefights in towns with artillary etc coming down nearby.

I'm normally first on the servers since i got the extra memory to get it to 1.5GB.

High except med. lighting and med. textures.
4xaa, full af.

No stutter or lag at all after first joining and throughout the round. Fraps is all over the place with FPS counter so it is hard to give an average but I would put it around 75-80.

Anybody beginning to notice it doesn't make any difference what peoples specs are?


There are people here saying they are running on high and I'm suprised they can play solitare on their computers............They can't all be lieing.


And there are people here that have above average processors, ram and graphics cards who are having problems.

So......Its NOT OUR computers. Its got to be something else.

im running bf2 on mostly low and some medium settings. But it works great for the graphics card i have.
