We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
I run pretty good(40-50fps) with most settings on med. Light, shadows, AA, AF and texture filter off. 1024x768 seems good but I like 800x600 better.
I run a Gateway(I know, but all I gotta do is switch mobo, cos it only allows 4x), 2.4mhz p4, pny 6200 8x 256mb vid card. I need to can my SB live and pop in a Audigy. I have to run on software low to not get any studering(onboard sound works fine too). 450w psu.
I had 768 ram and it ran great on low, now I have ddr3200 512x2 and noticed a big difference. When I get new mobo I'll have to get all new stuff, basically a whole new pc inside!
runs perfect with tweaked settings to "ultra high" even.
also i average between 60-90fps and i primarily play 64 man rooms
i am on a cable connection and run 5.1 surround sound
i think that answeres everything
ASUS A8n SLI-Deluxe
AMD Athlon 64 3700+
2 gig of DDR 3700
2 WD 36 gig 10k RPM SATA RAID hard drives
EVGA 7800GT
I have mid range PC but tweaked to the max...
No stutter, no lag.... Great :)
Apart from the SF cheaters who aint got SF but have the unlocks... grrrr
Screenies logged!!!
Sound card is integrated - - Nvidia Nforce version 6.14.0442.0030
Thats the next thing I'm going to get.
They are pretty cheap and I can use it when I build the next one.
That would be a major contributing factor in your game running poorly. My FPS doubled when I switched from integrated to a Live! and I gained a little bit more switching from the Live! to an Audigy 2 ZS.
It kinda all depends on resolution. I run;
Athlon 64 4000
2gb ram
2x 7800GT's
which as you might imagine can handle 1280*1024 and everything high without probs. To get that system down to stuttering and worse you turn everything up and set the res to 2560x1600 and wait for something to explode, instantly unplayable.
btw one thing i did notice is that BF2 seems to default to software sound which really hurts performance, aside from sounding pants.
