    BF2, going downhill? Your opinion?

Whats your opinion on BF2? Do you think its going downhill?

I personally think BF2 is not much without POE2 and FH2, and considering there free, EA/Dice should be greatful!

I'll wait until the next patch comes out before i totally lose faith in this game, but for now i don't mind.

If the bugs are'nt fixed but there are changes to things which were fine beforehand i'm off!

To be honest, I'm just not interested at ALL in the new stuff they put out.

The maps are kind of boring to me, as well as the new weapons.

I'm just waiting till everything is cleaned up. I'm sick of the "pusher" packs, and they are not even out yet. The blatent disregard for the community, and the lack of forsight on EA's behalf is bewildering.

BF2 is the best FPS game on the market!

I enjoyed bunnyhopping and throwing C4s, or raping flags with blackhawk. Sometimes I would spend 4 rounds in a row using cow strapped with c4s to ram opposing blackhawk. Now, it's no use for the most part. Currently playing SWAT4: Stechkov Syndicate - a lot of fun.

I actually think it´s going uphill again. With 1.2 there´s no more C4 chucking, dolphin diving and totally overpowered planes, those definitely were the biggest immersion killers for me.
Of course new problems were introduced, like Claymores, PKM and (for some people) AA, but I´d rather have these than the exploits in 1.12.

I think it's getting better, with the new "booster packs" on the way and a good few changes to make more balanced (not saying about bugs they put into patch), it's on the up.

Re: BF2, going downhill? Your opinion?

I concur, BF2, is more fun then ever now.
I really think its the subpar pilots, the jumping, dancing infantry, and the c4 chuckers, that hate this patch, or hate where bf2 is going. But, if you have been reading most posts here, you would see that the majority is having more fun. The games are now more closer in points comming down to the wire on alot of games. This makes for more fun when it comes down to 40 points and the game can swing in either direction.
Nah, BF2 has renewed life in my opinion.
I do however think they should combine Euro Forces and Armored Fury booster packs, as one download, for 9.99, however. Euro doesnt intrest me, only the latter. Or they could suck up the 20 bucks and drop it to 14 bucks to insure all their faithful get both, instead of one or the other.

Nothing seems to go right on BF2 for me lately. If its not super lag and very low FPS its something else. E.g. I finally get into a game and this loser goes commander and spams "negative" for the entire round...And my team would not mutiny him out..It came down to needing 2 more votes...It was pathetic and gave me a head ache. I can not believe the maturity of some of the losers on BF2..Needless to say I stop playing after that. I don't blame EA/Dice for that one loser but it is just sad. Well maybe Ill try next weekend.

P.s. I could care less about the no bunny hopping thats fine with me and I can live with the PKM and teh sniper rifles but I can not handle the performance issues I have been having.

Not to be mean here, but your one of the player types that made the majority of players, sorta start losing intrest in the game. I call it a counter strike type mentality. Battlefield, in my opinion, has always hated, as a community, that type of play. You could go and read 4 year old Battlefield 1942 forums, and realize this to be true. Although it was stated officially that BF 42, and now bf2, were not to be considered war SIMS, I think most want them to be just that. And there is no room for guys jumping 14 times in a row, taking fire, not dying, then spot a nade launcher in your face, killiing you. Yeah, you can do it in game, but, should you be able to? Nah.

OH man, that sucks man, re: the commander. What a jack. I too have seen this type of tard playing, and to be honest, I believe alot of PLAYERS in the OPTIONS menu, disable the voting. I know I have. Because there are 2 evils here. One, The tard you wanna get kicked voted out of the game, and Two, the tard that feels he has to bring up a kick vote every 2minutes. I chose to ignore the contant kick voting, simply cuz that seems to come up more then the spamming chat tard. EA/DICE SHOULD IMPLEMENT some code that would disallow spamming voice chat. I've seen it in other games. You say negative more then 2 times within a certain time, you dont get to say it again, for a certain time. Makes sense really.

well for me i think it has. At one point i couldn't miss a day without at least getting a few hrs in on BF2. Now-a-days I go 2 and 3 days without playing. And since the patch I have played lesser because I'm getting tired of getting killed by snipers by them using there claymore any way they wont without worrying about getting tk's.

I think there is that option already maybe not for commanders but I know for troops if you say something too much the commander comes on the channel and says something like "stop yacking and get off this channel" and then you can't say anything for like 10 sec. Im not sure if commanders have the same restrictions but this guy seemed to stop every 2 min. for like 20 seconds then pick up back at it "negative, negative, negative". Oh well the headache is long gone and lets hope I never see that loser again.

The was some redemtion that I left out, nearing the end of the round the few people who were actually going insane by this we tracked down the commander and stab-revived him till he left the game..I didnt do the stabbing or reviving it was just my idea cause I did not want negative points. If the mutiny doesn't work just stab revive your way to no commander (this should only be used in the extreme cases as specified above).
