You certainly can comment on it, but you won't be commenting INTELLIGENTLY on it because you have no first hand experience. One can read all the books in the world on parenting; however, unless you've actually experienced it, you really have no idea. Fellow parents out there know what I'm talking about.

You should not assume everyone grew up an orphan as you apparently did.

Also, the fact that you were clueless about the subject before the experience just tells me that you were very ill-prepared for the task and nothing more.

I gamed when I was 7 and I grew up fine (well almost...). The point is that games dont ruin a childs life, if the kid wants to game let to kid do so. I agree I draw the point when you let them play gta at 7 or 9 or something but it's no big deal. Nice to see a gamer in the making!

Once again, all of you that are letting your 5 and 6 year old kids play bf2, are idiots. Wanna computer educate your kids, let them play anything from EA Sports, or chess, or something that will stimulate their IQ. You may say that I'm full of it, but movies, games etc have age rating for a reason. A lot smarter man put that process in place. This game is rated 13+. To the guy that said he's been playing since 7 and grew up ok: I've been playing since I was 7 also, but I was playing pacman and test drive. Even the shooting games back then were joke, they were 2D and not as aggressive, realistic, and violent as bf2.
