Actually, anyone can ask for ammo, repairs, help via the commo rose. Commanders see and hear those requests too. If I've got an available supply crate and there's a lone wolf tank capping a base for me I'll zoom in on him and drop a crate on his tank. All you have to do is listen for "ammo" and "repair" calls and when you hear them, look for the vehicle/blue dot that is blinking yellow.

COs can "talk" to their entire team via global chat. In the Command screen on the lower left, click on "Team" and type your message in the box. Your text will show up as Gold colored in the Global Chat screen.

84%-92% missed? I don't think so. Where did you get that from? Stop reading books published by left wing hippies. Also, don't believe everything you see in Hollywood.

Republicans seem to think that centrist thinking = left-wing whackjob hippie from Holleywood with a baby-killing book contract thinking.

lol, why did politics come into a discussion about what commanders can do besides being in the commander screen? Lets get the thread back on track.

When I said precision strikes aren't precise and they mostly miss. People talking negatively about the US Army gets labeled as left-wing these days.

More comander abilities? Are you insane? Artillery already accounts for probably 20% total deaths out of everyones death in the entire game in the history of bf2....

More power to the commander is a bad idea, as someone else said, thats asking for abuse....

Not to mention playing commander IS fun....you get high scores (not that important) and you get to just nail a ton of people with arty.

Yeah, playing commander is a very nice change of pace. If I have been kicking some serious booty, sometimes its nice to sit back and deal more with strategy and "the big picture".....this way I dont get noob tubed as well :)

The only problem with that is that win/loss isn't completely up to the commander. He might be a great commander but could have a team of total retards.

I think you broke the thread width. There's weird lines in weird places now.

THe reason that commander artillery isnt too accurate, is because in real life, the military uses spotters/laser targeters to help the shells/bombs land on target.

Maybe he's reading about Gulf War I (1990)? Although smart weapons were introduced to the media then, they only made up about 15% of the ordinance or less. These days it's more like 95% or more, thanks to cheap JDAM kits.

You used a left-wing propoganda documentary as your source. My dad did some work for the DOD a couple of years ago (this was in India....his company was given access to enter the nuclear weapon storage facility), but yeah, I get my information from him. He doesn't do any classified stuff. You based your information on a Hollywood documentary. I base mine on something that's more credible.

Your source seems like it would be biased not credible.
