My mate also got his last night, but he had a much harder time. Eventually we got it on Karkand - he just slinked from alley to alley and I followed closely behind with my shock paddles out.

We ALMOST got it on Dragon Valley (1 kill short) by ninja'ing into the USMC uncappable base and playing butcher shop as people sat around camping for vehicles.

I got my knife and pistol badges one after the other:
1. Pistol badge
- go as SF because the pistol is silenced so half the time the guys don't know where you're shooting from (go prone as well - helps)
- Sharqi Peninsula FTW!!

2. Knife badge
- got it playing on the SF map called Warlords - basically hang around the big tower in the middle (with the chopper up top). If you're SAS, try to get up to to get the snipers; if you're rebel, hang around outside amongst the buildings for the snipers or come up behind. quite easy in fact.

Just got my expert knife today on Karkand after trying for it about 4 times. Even finished the round with a 2-1 KDR. With the influx of support players it has become easier to knife people. They are always going prone and you just jump on top of them. It was one of the most stressful badges I have ever tried to get. Damn that knife when you see the puff of smoke and they don't die.
