What is your favourite Assault Rifle?

This is a new poll... I am so sorry to left out the G3 in the previous poll because I hardly use it at all.

Let's start voting. It will be interesting to know the favourite assault rifle of each of you!

Give me your comments on why you like that Assault Rifle!

I like the L85A1 because you got a very nice scope thus enabling you to hit target accurately and detect and kill targets faster. In close combat it rocks too! So there goes my vote.

(To prevent further confusion, this thread is specifically asking the weapons used by Assault/Medic don't ask me why there is no this gun no that gun)

Still L85 as a personal favourite, but man you are still going to annoy people lumping the two AKs together...

From a game perspective the SCAR-L and the G36C are carbines...

Yeah, that thing is sickly accurate, thats why I voted for it.

those are LMGs tho...but the scar and the C aren't...they are assault rifles.

They are not classified as Assault Rifle. G36C belongs in the Carbine category while PKM belongs to the Light Machine Gun category. I am asking this about people's opinion in their Medic/Assault Class experience

Yeah but the way people play, the LMGs are the next Assault Rifles.

Yeah G36E isn't an assault rifle, but since the patch I like the G3 better than the F2000, it kills so much faster.

Yeah but the way people play, the LMGs are the next Assault Rifles.

I thought that till last night. Honestly with the new sniper accuracy going prone with the assault gun is suicide. Sure you'll kill your target but you'll get owned fast. The G3 kills well while running.

Any Medic/Assault weapon IS an Assault Rifle.

I always liked the G3 and now, post-patch, it's a lot more accurate so i like it even more. The smallish mag is still a problem, and the accuracy goes to pieces if you are moving, but it's still nice to use. (Off topic a bit, but now that the PKM is super accurate, still has a 100 round mag, still has unlimited ammo, still does more damage, its hard to see a reason to use the G3 rather than the PKM).

I like the G36E a lot, and I always use it when I play med. Otherwise the stock weapons are all fine. The F2000 doesn't move me much. I never used the noob tube much anyway and the accuracy/damage stats seem to make the gun pretty mediocre. Apart from the scope the L85A1 is stil a POS, although not quite as useless as it used to be.
