no probw w/my comp - saphire 9800pro 128mb agp.

However, one of my clanmates can't play bf2 now - ati 9200 - and he just cant play, too much lag / etc...

i have a 9600,256mg useing the old 5.8 drivers as any others gives me all sorts of probs,still get crapy night vision tho.

Night vision is only fixed in 6.1 or 6.2 catalyst drivers.

X800GTO 256MB - Catalyst 6.2

No problems here before the patch with All high and 2xAA. Now I get random CTDs after the patch.

Ditto, except I have a 9100. I've also seen 9000 users reporting the same problems.

i have a Radeon 9800 pro 128mb and its running smoothly and fast BUT im constantly getting Sent to the desktop and quit out of the game and pc restarts when playing Bf2!!!!! some1 tell me how to fix this problem!! anyone?

x800xt AIW here. No problems. A few artifacts present in 5.11, 5.12, 5.13 have cleared up in 6.1, 6.2. Yay nightvision instead of ghostvision. All settings to medium except geometries to high, lighting to high, dynamic lighting off and dynamic shadows off. 4xAA; 1024x768.

Marginal framerate increase after 1.2 patch, and the game just seems to "look better", BUT I also TOTALLY reinstalled BF2 & SF and 6.2 drivers on a faster HD and put my pagefile on secondary HD...so no direct before/after comparison can be made.

ATI Mobility Radeon 9200. It could handly BF2 fine, until the 1.2 patch. Same mesh and fps problems as everyone.

Before I built my new computer I had a Radeon 9200 or 9250 AGP card.
And it was buggy as all hell.
I checked EA's website, and they have a list of cards that are "compatible" and a few that aren't.
I'm not sure if they've made an attempt to fix this yet, but they listed the Radeon 9200 series as the #1 LEAST compatible card with BF2.
They said although it meets memory and gpu requirements and such, for some reason it just will not run the game stable.

I'd upgrade if I were you guys.

ATI x600, very "few" probs b4 1.2. After install of patch, 2 - 3 crashes an hour, updated driver, running Catalyst 6.2, that did diddly squat! Thinking about drilling a few holes in the side of my Comp box, last time I drilled a hole I went through my moniter cable and got a nice new one thanks to the household insurance. May be time for a shiny new Graphics card. Or maybe some sort of patch from EA/ Dice to sort the problem..................
....Yeah Right, I tink I'll go and fuel up my pigs ready for take off.

i just installed my Radeon X1900XT yesterday and things run pretty well. i'm using catalyst 6.2 drivers. the only thing i've noticed is that some of the shadows look a little worse at times than they did with my 6800GT. also very infrequently i'll CTD.

I have a sapphire 9800 PRO 256 meg. version. The game usually used to run moderately smooth. After the patch I can't even move around and I ping over 200 even on the EA Official servers.....

Radeon 9250 128mb catalyst 6.2 i have the no building and extreme lag just like all the radeon 9200 series users- so when is EA or radeon going to fix this BIG problem

Why should they fix it?

You have one of the worst graphics cards available & it is NOT a GAMING CARD! Well i for one am happy that it will keep all of the counter****e players out of BF2 as it seems most of them use 9200 series cards, excellent!
