I for one think this patch is pretty cool. The new support guns rock hard at all ranges now (provided you prone and aim) and AA can finally down those flying squirrels although most of the time they're bombing the AA platforms to bits anyway. Gameplay seems a bit faster and balanced. The transport helicopters might need some kind of boost on the other hand. It's nice that they can't BH whore you as easily anymore, but if they get shot down before getting anywhere it could become too great a gamble to even get into them. Especially on carrier maps and the like.

Had some really great games today. Found this really strong and skilled team which overran USA map after map :)

I noticed a few bugs that might not have been in before... Effects sometimes stop running. I was strafing some infantry as a heli pilot on Clean Sweep and my gunner was blowing the tar out of some pedestrians, but I didn't hear the autocannon firing. Neither did I see the tracers and explosions. I did however get the kill assists and I saw the bodies flying all over below me. This happened intermittently.

Also I broke the 20.000 point barrier and have yet to recieve my PROMOTION! >
Maybe it'll appear tomorrow all mysteriously and stuff...

Somehow, i don't even know how to start this post. The game is too great for words alone.

Ever since this 1.2 patch, i've had nothing but FAIR AND GREAT GAMEPLAY. No M203'ers, no bunnyhoppers - nothing.

I was playing on Operation Clean Sweep, when a bunch of at least 8 USMC dudes were surrounding me ALONE. I had no backup. So all i do is take out my support gun and blast them all away. Didn't even get a chance to kill me.

In real world situations, this is how i'd expect it to be. A big support machine gun vs a M4A1? Surely the support gun would tear anything to shreds. But what do i know? I'm not in the military.

All i'm saying is this patch has finally brought out the REAL GAMERS. Now the little stat whores are busy finding a way to play unfair, yet again.

Battlefield 2 is now an enjoyable experience. Not an Unreal Tournament clone.

Me - Went from the bottom of the list, straight to the top in a matter of 3 minutes. Just by doing what i do best - ground fighting with fair gun to gun combat.

I hope all you gamers are happy out there. The only ones who will complain are those who can't use their beloved cheap playing to get their stats, therefore they get pwned.

I tried out the choppers, but i kept getting pwned. Yes I GOT PWNED. That's because it takes the real skilled pilots to fly now. Good luck guys.

Oh yeah, and for those who say "Waaahhh, the patch made my game slow!" Maybe you should stop downloading porn and get a girlfriend. I used to get sucky bits of lag in the game, but now? Well, let's just say DICE has lived up to their word on the 'performance increase' I'm using an ATi X800XT PE, if anyone was wondering.

Too bad you can't patch humans.

This is EXACTLY what i felt when i booted up the patch. The first server i was on had a good, cohesive squad working together to boot, as well as the next one. Perhaps it was just a fluke, but i had one hell of a time my first few hours with this patch. As an infantry player, mostly assault, i can finally say that i think they've hit the mark with this game. I just wish they had done it with release.

Oh, and the g3 is friggin awesome. Thank you, DICE!

I love it! I absolutely love it. The people who played the game casually and got their ass kicked because they didn't use the MOST POWERFUL FEATURES OF THE GAME TO THEIR ADVANTAGE got their way.

How many of you are sons, daughters, cousins, etc of the EA & DICE staff?
