Dude try playing America's Army with much more realistic 203's. 1 guy with 203 can practically wipe out the whole squad on one team if they all cluster up or try to hide behind things.(But that usually doesn't happen because if one person can flank him or get in close range where "REAL ARMING DISTANCE FOR 203's WORK" then its over) The only thing cheap about 203's in BF2 was being able to jump and fire it at close range. Now since the jump and fire is gone it would been more fair but they took it a step further and completely destroyed the assualt class. A grenade launcher is suppose to kill infanty, its like a mortar on a gun. Now since that became more useless are you satisfied? Are you happy that 203's can't kill you but a hand grenade can in the same distance even though the 203 has much more lethality. And don't think I'm some noob-tuber that's just whining, I'd perfer the Carbine over the assualt rifle but sometimes you just gotta blow some people up or cars. But that seem to be a problem of late due to that fact that the 203's CAN bounce just test it on single player on APC's or tanks And HMMV'S and walls. THe bounce is extremely buggy and I had one go 90 degrees to the left when I fired it onto the side of an APC. And the bounce can be complety random at times.

I've played Americas Army. Very realistic. I didn't play it for long though.

I was amazed when i threw a grenade in patch 1.2, man, it went flying. It was like i was superman throwing the thing!

I still see road reversing tank whores at the hotel on karkand, guess that will never be fixed..

Also theres somthing that EA forgot to fix,when somone puts a vote kick on you and then the ailed vote ends, the first person to join the server puts a vote kick on you before they even get in the server.

Dunno if this is intentionly done by EA or what , but i think it needs to be fixed

Somehow, i don't even know how to start this post. The game is too great for words alone.

Ever since this 1.2 patch, i've had nothing but FAIR AND GREAT GAMEPLAY. No M203'ers, no bunnyhoppers - nothing.

I was playing on Operation Clean Sweep, when a bunch of at least 8 USMC dudes were surrounding me ALONE. I had no backup. So all i do is take out my support gun and blast them all away. Didn't even get a chance to kill me.

In real world situations, this is how i'd expect it to be. A big support machine gun vs a M4A1? Surely the support gun would tear anything to shreds. But what do i know? I'm not in the military.

All i'm saying is this patch has finally brought out the REAL GAMERS. Now the little stat whores are busy finding a way to play unfair, yet again.

Battlefield 2 is now an enjoyable experience. Not an Unreal Tournament clone.

Me - Went from the bottom of the list, straight to the top in a matter of 3 minutes. Just by doing what i do best - ground fighting with fair gun to gun combat.

I hope all you gamers are happy out there. The only ones who will complain are those who can't use their beloved cheap playing to get their stats, therefore they get pwned.

I tried out the choppers, but i kept getting pwned. Yes I GOT PWNED. That's because it takes the real skilled pilots to fly now. Good luck guys.

I just get a feeling of quality to the game now. It finally feels 'complete'

Oh yeah, and for those who say "Waaahhh, the patch made my game slow!" Maybe you should stop downloading porn and get a girlfriend. I used to get sucky bits of lag in the game, but now? Well, let's just say DICE has lived up to their word on the 'performance increase' I'm using an ATi X800XT PE, if anyone was wondering.

Too bad you can't patch humans.

While I like the new improvements, I am already finding that you "fair infantry to infantry" fags are spawn camping. Also, EA Fuked something up with the sounds, so now I just die, no warning, no bullet sounds hitting the ground, nothing; just death. Its the most annoying thing out of any video game I have ever played in my life.

This new patch has several great improvements but dying without warning or hearing what shot you from a few yards away is friggin retarded. Also, it shows the reload animation while the guys are firing at me sometimes, which is bullsh!t. Overall the game has gotten very very boring and frustrating.

PS: I got Noob tubed by a bunny hopping guy anyways. They just have to wait till later in their jump to do it. Two thumbs down is the official realistic opinion of this. If you disagree you're wrong.:laugh:

I've experienced no sound problems with BF2, so i guess it's your game/comp. And no, i don't spawncamp either. I've never done this in my life. I prefer to go CATCH FLAGS, but not be cheaply killed when i walk around every corner.

Well if its my computer then EA caused the problem with the computer, before the patch I could actually hear incoming fire and have a bit of knowledge as to where it was coming from.

I must clarify 1 point, in "real life" a 40mm grenade isn't HALF as devastating as the standard M67 fragmentation grenade

The 203's "warhead" is the size of a golf ball

The M67 is the size of a MLB hardball

In basic we learned the only way to use the hand grenade

Throw it as far as you can, & it will still shake the ground under your feet

btw the "flip up" sights on an 203 have increments to 800m

I was happy to notice that the new support gun and the improved snipers really help out the new players. It's always fun to notice that a game requires less skill and new players can own and think they are better than they really are. Also, I love the new patch because the new slower prone-speed and the inability to dolphin-dive. These things made my armour-whoring that much easier. Now even new players can own with the tank, this is especially good since I definatly think that new players should be on-par with the ones having payed for a great amount of time. Hopefully the next patch will include an aimbot or guided bullets for people with negative K/D ratios. An yes, it is good to know that when two players that know how to aim, that is like a percent of the players on-line, face eachother, the victor is automatically the one that sees the other player first since evadeing bullets is hopeless.

Thats what it is now, whoever sees the other person first and hits the ground firing first wins. And if they don't see you they're dead. Firing sounds have been all but eliminated beyond the guy right next to you. Gay is the right word... and I don't mean happy.

By the looks of your writing you're possibly as old as 12. The problem is the sound of gunfire seems to be gone. Never before this patch was there just the sound of your guy dying and nothing else, unless it was a long range snipe. Now its for everything.

Also, another thing I just noticed... the support guys are so well armoured they can take out 3-4 guys just by laying down and firing, also while taking a whole clip of G36E to the face. Its complete BS. Everyone is a sniper and support now.

Also, I got knifed after firing at a sniper at point blank range with the G36E and he just bunnyhopped until I had to switch to the pistol.

The Scar-L is useless now, it used to be a decent gun. What a sh!tty patch. The only people that seem to be praising it are the people that sucked before and have a chance now that you can be a bulletproof support guy or a sniper that can just sit back and get (too) easy kills.
