Somehow, i don't even know how to start this post. The game is too great for words alone.

Ever since this 1.2 patch, i've had nothing but FAIR AND GREAT GAMEPLAY. No M203'ers, no bunnyhoppers - nothing.

I was playing on Operation Clean Sweep, when a bunch of at least 8 USMC dudes were surrounding me ALONE. I had no backup. So all i do is take out my support gun and blast them all away. Didn't even get a chance to kill me.

In real world situations, this is how i'd expect it to be. A big support machine gun vs a M4A1? Surely the support gun would tear anything to shreds. But what do i know? I'm not in the military.

All i'm saying is this patch has finally brought out the REAL GAMERS. Now the little stat whores are busy finding a way to play unfair, yet again.

Battlefield 2 is now an enjoyable experience. Not an Unreal Tournament clone.

Me - Went from the bottom of the list, straight to the top in a matter of 3 minutes. Just by doing what i do best - ground fighting with fair gun to gun combat.

I hope all you gamers are happy out there. The only ones who will complain are those who can't use their beloved cheap playing to get their stats, therefore they get pwned.

I tried out the choppers, but i kept getting pwned. Yes I GOT PWNED. That's because it takes the real skilled pilots to fly now. Good luck guys.

I just get a feeling of quality to the game now. It finally feels 'complete'

Oh yeah, and for those who say "Waaahhh, the patch made my game slow!" Maybe you should stop downloading porn and get a girlfriend. I used to get sucky bits of lag in the game, but now? Well, let's just say DICE has lived up to their word on the 'performance increase' I'm using an ATi X800XT PE, if anyone was wondering.

Too bad you can't patch humans.

I play mainly SF and the helicopters were in the air for the entire round with decent pilots and there was NOTHING one person could do to stop them short of laying c4 on the enemy heli pad and hoping they hover low enough to blow them up.

Now that AA works properly the choppers can no longer stand off against mobile AA while hovering right in front of it, they have to RUN AWAY, which is fantastic. Planes and helicopters are no longer a dominating force in the game, they're brought down a notch, while silmultaneously remaining a deadly weapon in the right hands. OK so some people were used to getting into the chopper at the start of the round and owning the whole time and getting 60-70+ points without a death, they're the ones who are complaining now.

They were too overpowered plain and simple, and thats fixed now, its all good in my books, i love the new patch.

Yes i agree with that. Ever since i got raped by those choppers, i've kept playing Karkand only, but then i got raped by M203's, hehe. Now it's all fixed. Time to play fair!

About taking those choppers down - I got helicopters smoking by shooting them with my PKM!!

sorry to break the news, the reason why you didn't got noob tubed is because people are trying out other stuff at the moment, today I was on a server and there was a lot of noob tubing going on there, in case you didn't noticed, the noob tube isn't changed much, the nades don't bounce, they can still be used in very close distance.

AA way to acurate.

Good stuff, snipers are snipers now, suport weapons now can shoot something

sorry to break the news, the reason why you didn't got noob tubed is because people are trying out other stuff at the moment, today I was on a server and there was a lot of noob tubing going on there, in case you didn't noticed, the noob tube isn't changed much, the nades don't bounce, they can still be used in very close distance.

I got a M203 fired to my feet, and i didn't even get more than 3 bars of health tooken. The damage radius has definately been decreased.

I played support before the patch and it was difficult to hit the enemy more than once, now it's like support guys have a chance against everyone else:laugh:

My only real complaint so far, is I feel they should have further dampened jumping as a defense. I come from the school of Raven Shield...so maybe I'm spoiled by people who fight fair and don't need to jump in order to avoid being attacked, they, yah know, fight back. The better man wins, and sometimes not. It's kind of silly that jumping takes away from your stamina bar, but you can still jump if it is empty. If you couldn't, people would have to play a little smarter.

That, and I really wish I could use my unlocks in single player. I hate "practicing" witha new eapon online and getting the crap beat out of me untli I get the hang of it...or, in the case of the jackhammer not being abloe to get the hang of it because I can't kill a single thing with it. Ok, some will say that I'm complaining because I have no skill, fair enough...but we're allowed to go single player or lan and practice with the vanilla weapons, so why should it be any different for the unlocks?

Other than that, I LOVE THE NEW PATCH!! No more getting raped by people who should be playing Quake 4 not BF2:)

Well...I just want to play without having to see a noobtuber that is a rabbit coming at me nor do I want to see a heli fly over and have nothing to do except die. Finnally, on Wake you can actually get to the shore. WOW that is new. What did you expect. There were so many different view points from thousands of people, EA couldn't make a patch that was exactly how you wanted it to be.

they could shoot before patch to, its just that you cant aim

you have loads and loads of bullets, and all you need to do is shoot in body near area while other classes need to watch how they spend the clip. now its even worse with support

Support seems more accurate, sniper also more accurate. Helos go down ALOT easier, took a few down with AT today. Also noob tube seems funny, I fired a few today with no difference than before the patch, then a few I shot and watched it bounce right off a moving transport without going off, it wasnt that close range either. weird stuff

I agree with most of this, especially the part about unlocking the guns in single player to test them out.

Yep, the PKM does lots of damage. I prefer the higher rate of fire guns though. The special forces support gun is my choice.

Yeah the grenade did explode at my feet, but i didn't die. Don't worry though, they do really kill you, because i seen a big group of guys on single player, so i launched a M203 nade into the middle of them and it killed almost all of them. One survived.
