hehe, its all good bro, happens to the best of us. As far as my FPS is concerned, it improved after the cooling was 'fixed'. So i'm not really complaining for now. I'm glad it improved. I'm thinking maybe theres a temp throttle on the CPU that 'powers it down' if it gets too 'hot'. Which might've limited my performance.

I dunno, its workin alright for now. Went from 15-20, to about 30-60 FPS.

we're all hoping for a better coding and fixing of aaaaaalll the many millions of bugs :P... of not i'm gonna post a thread about how to annoy an EA-nerd most efficiently... by taking his glasses or something :P

Heat will cause a system to become unstable, especially with a hog like BF2. I take it you installed a custom heat sink and fan and didn't apply the paste properly the first time. Heat issues are rare these days unless your overclocking the system. Glad you had some improvements.
