if the player kills alot of people with the grenade launcher, then they are NOT noobed, they are just good with it. how come nobody whines about people using the scope on the sniper rifle, its the same thing, a weapon attachment that enhances the performance of the class, that gives them thier perk. also after the patch, nobody better complain about ricochete shots, that shizzle is legit.

Clue #1, if everybodies using it, it's low end on the skill spectrum.

alot of people use every class, i know i do. if your team doesnt select classes based on the current needs of the team, then they will not win versus a more diversified team. for instance, on karkand, if a most players get assault, the enemy armor can easily break through. i can dispatch assault with ease, i just have to select the most apropriate class for the time, and i have to be a better soldier. use range, magazine capacity, and other weapon perks to your advantage.

If i get toobed from 5ft away or under..then its noobish, insta kill bull ****e.

nothing sucks more then turning a corner and insta dieing.

I use it when Im angry..if I keep getting toobed Ill bust it out and bunny nade. Its easy and an exploit imo.

When Im assualt, I use the G3. Its deadly accurate and powerful. I wouldnt trade my G3 just so I could hop around and insta kill. I couldnt respect myself if I chose the Toobed assualt rifles just so I could have a 1 up on ground troops.

I consider the noob toobers the ones that:

1. kill themselves
2. nade you from like 5m away
3. cant kill you with anything else

I'm gonna confess... I've been playing lots with the 'ol noob toob lately. I try not ta whore the sucker, but it's actually a lot of fun to play with. Getting a good lob off at someone at range takes skill. Better, the results of a good hit are often amusing (I like making people do backflips :p ).

However... there have been times where I'm moving for a good shot and someone pops up at point blank range. I know if I take the time to change weapons, I'm dead. So what do I do? I grit my teeth and I pull the damned trigger. Usually I curse myself for not switching weapons before I got into the stiuation... but... ya know.

I'm very much looking forward to the patch. Atleast when I get caught with my toob hangin out, I don't have to feel so damned cheesy.

What does it really matter what you use in the field, everyone is always going to have problems, i personally hate chopper pilots that hover over targets and blast the Sh*te out of people, and also hate it when people use the GL on me, i hate it when people snipe me or kill me with a carbine.

Basically no matter how you get killed you are not going to like it whether they are a so called "noon tuber" or a sniper

I consider noob toobing as this......

1, Shoots and insta kills you from >5m away
2, Killing themselves when doing 1
3, Miss and bunny hop to reload
4, Bunny hop AND fire GL
5, Only use the GL, does not switch to Rifle

If these things happen repeatedly, that's when I break out the tube and use it on them at close range :evil:

Forget the whole rubbish with GL, a real pro uses the G3! I love my G3 and would never substitute it for any launcher in the world, even if I was able to launch nuclear missiles with it! G3 is practical at short and especially long distances. The power of a DAO-12 and the accuracy of the sniper rifle in the palm of my hand, MUAHAHAHAHA!

This whole debate is rather pointless unfortunately. Regardless of how and when one uses the grenade launcher, the person killed will always label their opponent as a noobtuber.

My definition of a noob tuber is someone who always runs around with the GL and fires it at all the infantry he sees. If someone destroys a car with the GL its not noobtubing..

Well, for me, anyone who uses the launcher at close range, i.e. within spitting distance of the target is just an idiot and doesn't really deserve a kill point.

I don't think running around with the launcher selected is 'noob', but think of it this way, if you bump into an enemy, are you really gonna switch to rifle and have some CQB, or 'noob toob' them? That is way it is considered by some/most, to be noob!

Personally, I use the nade launcher for suppression, medium-long range kills if I have just emptied the clip (and cannot reload quickly enough), or to take out jeeps and spam armor.

I cannot wait for the arming distance to come into play, as 'bouncing' nades is going to be very handy - kinda like to good ol' nade launcher in Goldeneye on the N64 :)

Yer aware that the ol G3 actually has arguably the wrost accuracy of all the assualt rifles, yeah?

Still, I'm with ya. I'm a G3 fan. I seem to get lucky with the thing.
I'm looking forward to seeing how it's gonna be imporved post-patch.
