NoobTuber or Tuber: Wheres the line?

I know that a person who GLs another and kills himself is a 'noobtuber', so is a person who does the same, but escapes death by a jump.
A 'Tuber' is a person who uses it at long range.

So wat is the minumin range? Do you have to kill more than one target at medium range to not be classed as a 'noobtuber'?.
Wot is medium range? Where is the line? Wot is the line?

I got kicked from a server for being a noobtuber. I can only think it was a guy I killed twice on the trot. The second time I got him, I was letting him run away before I noobed him (playing with my prey, you know). The range was from Karkand Hotel flagpole to the inside of the archway across the road.

    Debate.......

I honestly don't see anything 'noobish' about using the GL in any situation....using a GL at short range doesen't take any more skill than using an assault rifle at long ranges. It's all about moving a freaking mouse, people.

Everytime im killed by a "n00btube" i think it was a n00b tuber. when it inst always a n00btuber. usually in karkand when i am us and strt on the hill ill fire off a few randow gl rounds from the hill and sometimes i kill someone. but the people i kill probly think i was just being a n00btuber, when really it was a longrange pro-tubering.

        it is not only distance,

One, only using it's noob tube, and running with the noob tube, is a noob tuber
when you use the noob tube in close combat situations, and sometimes kill yourself, you are a noobtuber

when using the noobtube against a vehicle, more then one enemy on like min 15m , it's is normal I gues

A noob toob kill is when the person jumps into the air before shooting, shoots the toob from close range (whether he kills himself or not) and any person that presses 4 as soon as they spawn is just a plain old noob.

I hate being noob tubed, but I have the F2000 and I'm a surgeon with the GL. I only use it when the target is more than 15m away or so.

I disagree that running with the GL out is noob tubing though. I usually keep my GL ready. The whole intent of the nade is to soften up targets at long range before closing in for the kill. I don't see how the extra 1 sec of switching over makes it any more acceptable to people. If I'm going around a corner I keep my gun on full auto, if I'm running around in the open I keep the GL locked and loaded. The GL takes a serious ammount of skill to use at long ranges no matter what anyone says. I usually only call it noob tubing if they aim the GL at the floor and jump to avoid blowing themselves up such as when guarding the flag on top of the construcrion site on sharqui.

Sorry guys, maybe 2% of the grenade launcher shots out there require any degree of skill. It's not impressive that you can shoot it more than 15m at still hit your target.

Its even less impressive when you can aim the mouse at a target and click with any other weapon. I consider hitting a target at long range especially a moving one with the GL much more skillfull.

15 m .. thats not a skill .. i think @ 30 m is med range, and everybody who says no i never tube, thats bull .. because if your walking with ya toob out and somehow run into a enemy i know you gonna pull the tricker, its natural ... but yes a noobtuber for me iis someone who only does it at close range like karkand and jumps like a kangaroo.

Considering it moves way too fast to get out of the way if even if you see it coming, and the splash is so big that even jumping won't save you, the only thing hitting a moving target requires is basic timing.

You make it sound like you have to hit THEM with the grenade launcher. You don't. You have to hit a wall or floor within like 6ft of them, with less than a second of error to account for.

I think EA should do away with all other weapons and future unlocks and just have a GL. After all, 50% of players use them exclusively. That would be the bestest ever! And c4 we can throw 20m, no! C4 we can throw 200m! I wanna throw C4 at snipers off on the hillside and boom! Woohoo!

                        1. if the tuber endangers themself to make the shot its noobed.
(just like kamikazi is noobed but car bombing isnt)
                        2. if they jump shoot it, its noobed.
(just because jump shooting is lame in general)
                        3. if the tuber simply runs away and gets shot in the back while reloading rather than using thier rifle, its noobed.
(same goes for medic with defibs)

if the player kills alot of people with the grenade launcher, then they are NOT noobed, they are just good with it. how come nobody whines about people using the scope on the sniper rifle, its the same thing, a weapon attachment that enhances the performance of the class, that gives them thier perk. also after the patch, nobody better complain about ricochete shots, that shizzle is legit.

GL, M203, and GP were all meant to be used on light armor, ex vodik, humvee

or to finish of an APC

How far is it acceptable to throw a nad?? - I guess the GL should be the same as the nad, right?

Anything under 5m is total noob. Under 10m is quite noobie. 15m is acceptable but not skilful. 35-50m is quite skillful. Over 70 is skilful. Over 250 is an act of God.
