You helo pilots....the same....get as many kills as you can....cause I will be laffing my ass off as I see you run out of ammo and try heading back to get repaired as the anti aircraft guns are blowing you out of the sky.....and my tank is putting you 6 feet under

Actualy your more likely to hit an aircraft than a heli with the AA. youd be suprised how easy it is to avoud missles with the heli.

Actualy your more likely to hit an aircraft than a heli with the AA. youd be suprised how easy it is to avoud missles with the heli.

yeah, it is wicked easy, pretty much if you gain altitude or swerve slightly

Errr experience disproves this. I frequently hit helos with missles and rarely with jets. However easy you think it is to avoid missles in a helo its 10x easier in a jet.

I seem to only be able to take out blackhawks, hence they fly slower than any aircraft in game. I have yet to take down a plane..well im on a mission

I can chew up planes with mobile aa, especially on the version of Op. Cleansweep where the mobile AA is available at the small airstrip. There is a lovely Notch up in the hills that make dodging helicopters and plane's a breeze. Play support and every once in a while jump out and lay some ammo to refresh your missiles, and cannon rounds, roll back and forth along the defile looking for targets, remember to dropping the missiles in groups of 4in fours. Killed a decent amount of jets with a combination of Missiles and Guns. Earned my air defense ribbon, and my support badge all in one round. . . Have a squad mate who's playing repair and you can rack the points up.

Nothing like having that Cobra pop up over the ride and recieve a flurry of missles and rotary cannon at point blank range.

wont u be ****ed when ppl start to bunny hop after next patch..... havent u notice that the only thing u cant do is shoot while jumping? the hopping is still there ...

I fly the BH most of the time and Ive yet to be hit with an AA missile and Ive only been hit a couple of times with an air-air missile.

You simple set off some flare and fitch/yaw and the missiles missed you by a couple of metres.

I totally support the new patch as far as bunny hopping is concerned. But what do u have against the helicopters? Just because u can't fly one doesn't mean that the helo pilots are playing dirty.

you're quite naive aren't you? I can bunny hop and kill, but I can also strafe and kill. This is something a lot of people in this game dont get. So many just lie down in front of me, or run right at me and I strafe left-right left-right while keeping my cross hairs right on them. Bunny hoppers are usually pretty good strafers, as its a BF1942 act. Hop to escape massive fire, strafe when guarding stairs or close-quarter.

So once no-one can jump and shoot, just wait till you moan about left-right rapid strafing.

If you have any problems with them now, what makes you think you're going to do any better with the next patch?

I've been playing this game for a while now, and I don't think I will have a problem taking you out from my helicopter. Hell, I'll even jump out from the gunner seat, not bother with my parachute, and bunnyhop on your head to kill you.

Are you going to wait for the 1.3 patch? I hear they are making the helicopters shoot paint to blind you, and the jets will be worn as a backpack.
