As a noob pilot I look for servers that have 4 or 5 people on it to practice running into the ground, going too high in the sky where I lose control, smashing into cranes and buildings, and flying under bridges.

I have progressed to where I can overshoot bombs, and fly annoyingly near helocoptors. I am still working on dogfighting, but keep crashing when I check my six.

To address the post, why hurt people when a well placed pack of c-4 on the windscreen obstructs the pilots view.

i just hate when ppl do that. who gave you the right to get into MY vehicle!? I TK anyone who even dares to come up to the Hangar/Helipad without thinking twice. plus if youve played on the server for a while and you know that the person usually flies the plane/heli then why do you even bother competing for it?

That would promote even more tking because the jet would spawn so soon and frequently too. It may prevent planewhores from getting the plane again, but not the tking.

Oh and btw to everyone that thinks they "own" a vehicle just because they are waiting next to where it spawns or just look at it. Get over yourself.

Well, its ok to be angered and i dont care what people do ingame but if it was me you blown up, i would have followed you and tk you until you quit th server or until id get kicked for tk.

And also, jet/chopper need to spawn ever later. Just like in project reality.

to be fair the waiting game is not time based, i dont hate folkes for coming up to the heli or plane and waiting next to me for it. i hold e and wait in the right spot for the thing..they bought the game just like me and have the same right as i do for that thing so as long as i dont get bullets comming my direction or the most annying one a knife in the back i dont mind sharing the wait...lol that C4 on the window is class, gonna go do that now and watch the swearing on the mid left of screen ..loool ..im bad

i like to fly a lot, and have a lot of experience with this.

and i have gone through many mehtods, but what i do now is, when waiting for a jet I TK everyone around the spawn area because they could get in it befor me, or i can get in it and they will stand in front of me to run them over. might just get it over with earlier.

and whoever talked about sniping someone out w/ the m95, you snipers are the first to go. lol, who actually plays w/ the sniper?

BF2 will remain a flight sim until the patch, if the patch really does allow stingers to shoot down helos & jets with two shots most of the time.

Then, once most flights become quick tickets to the spawn screen, the aviators will come back and join us ground-pounders in a good ole firefight once again.

BTW - to those BF2 pilots who've never flown a real flight sim, try IL2 Sturmovik in realistic mode. Do well at that, and I'll help brag about your flying skills.

But this jerkoff flight model we have now, with 3 seconds to reload/repair and then swoop off into invulnerable lala-land, hovering around at low airspeed in F/A-18s with the gear down, or accelerating straight up at 600-700-800 km/h in an F-35 while tumbling end over end... this is a flight sim designed by coders on crack.

It's just too embarassing to fly something that is so totally at odds with even a hint of reality - at the moment, BF2's flight model is just some Swede's fantasy of what jet flight is all about.

And yes, I work with F-16 pilots, crew chiefs, and ordnance loaders, so I do know what I'm talking about.
