to get the expert c4 badge do this:

play karkand 64

but make sure the server is only half full!!!! (that way the tickets wont run out before you get your 37 kills)

kill only using c4, nothing else!

I got 36 kills with c4 in karkand. ONE ****ING KILL AWAY FROM EXPERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gah **** it.

It's really cheap, and I'm ashamed of myself...but claymores at spawn points work really well :)

My personal favourite is the one by the dumpster at Surveillance Post on Sharqi (facing the TOW). Just pop one between the trees and hide round the corner with a support buddy...when you hear the boom he'll kindly supply you with more claymores and you can do it again! I must have killed the same guy 5 times in succession...spawn, twitch, BOOM!

The one on the roof facing City Entrance is fun too, although you tend to get caught more often...you can also vary it by putting them in by the gaps in the fences or tucked around building corners if you notice a pattern to the enemy advances, although you have to be wary of teammates who think red skulls = free sex...

The best place to get the Explosives badge would be at Karkand, just throw C4's in their base and wait for them to come and you will get al least 2+ everytime.

Play on karkand, go to the "square" spawn point the one just above hotel.Climb the ladder, and have the commander drop u a supply crate.And just lob packs down on unsuspecting enemy troops,especially when they try to take the flag.You may get killed, but ull be amazed how it works over and over lol.

Forget throwing it all over karkand or waiting for people to walk past your c4.

Find a city map server not too many people but enough for you to get it, preferably 64 map so you have enough time, then just forget your score, sharqi is a good map, spawn as mec top base and throw some on a vodnik and drive around untill you find people and just jump out and blow yourself up, I know it doesnt seem good but trust me, you get another vehicle straight away and full c4 again, its much quicker than running around on foot trying to catch stuff.

When I got mine I had -67 teamscore and 42 kills then I leveled it all out and got 80 kills in the end.

Its the way I did it and the only real way you can progress. As the C4 bug doesnt help one bit. You could run around with a support dude on a server with friendly fire off, and just throw it all so it quickly detonates for you or whatever.

I never though I would get expert but I did.

I think the best way is to go to a server that has a ticket rate of like...200 300 on any citiy map..got the explosive badge basic and veteran in one round...then took me about a week to get the expert but ya i was c4 chucking

Killing yourself to C4 another, is boring and crap for everyone, more so if your gonna do it 37 times. Also take into account that not all kills like this will be classed as C4 kills. Half will die from the vodnik blowing up, not your C4.

Its quite easy to jump among the scum, drop the presents and get the hell out, before blowing them sky high WITHOUT getting a scratch. It just takes a bit of skill. Which you should have if your thinking of getting that Expert badge.

I got my vet explosives badge today.. get a good commander who likes to give you UAV and hope the other team wants to attack the hotel..

I was MEC and had the commander UAV the hotel so i could know when they were coming.. i kept putting it on a wall in an alley that they had to run through to avoid our tank/apcs.. and then when the red dot got to the point.. bam.. killed.. throw another thing on the wall..
supply guys throwing ammo bags.. meds throwing med packs.. and my team had the perfect skill level.. not good enough to advance past the area i was protecting.. but good enough to keep all of the other spawns

I would have to say the best way is on Warlord in special forces. Hang out in one of the hallways that connects to the hallway of the north palace (I think north, the one on the lower level to the right) and just chuck one at a time. If your team is attacking that flag and the enemy keeps spawning there to defend they will continuously flood those front hallways and you will rack up many kills by dropping c4 and running away. Worked for my basic and now I will try for my next one.

Hence the reason badges are evil to the continuity of the game. I wish they'd just reduced the number of kills required for this badge. Then the badge needy can get their badge quickly and move on to something more constructive.
