Got the Vet badge after a few tries on Mashtuur using the VodBomb technique. Been trying every tactic I've ever read in these forums for the Expert, but never seem to be able to get more than 28-30. When the patch hits, I doubt I'll ever see Expert......

Throwing C4 is not an "exploit", cheap maybe, but not an exploit. Pretty pathetic people whine about it and countless other tactics because they get killed by them.

hm..EA said this exploit will be removed in new 1.2 patch.

My avatar shows a difficult badge I earned in the game, nothing more. Since you've never played with me, and weren't present in the round I earned it, you assumption means less that a pile of dog poop, run over by a garbage truck.

And if you had been following progression, the mechanics have been changed to and fro, so no one knows, and probably won't until the patch is released from DICE, not EA, has changed it drastically, or just enough for the whiners like yourself, but left enough leeway so it's still the valid tactic it was before

IMHO those are pretty poor skilled players who use C4 in 1o1, bunnyhopping all over the place....throwing em like hot potatoes

its bloomin hard that vet ribbon, screw the expert....the only possible way i can see to get this badge is if i do jihad jeeps etc, i mean how on earth do u legit put C4 on tank 23 times etc...jihad jeep isnt that bad a tactic anyhow..lol if ure a noob at jihad go to a server that doesnt have TK on, u can just blow it up whenever and not die :P...PWN BTCHS

Well, honestly I don't care much about this fix...as I don't play with idiots. So c4 exploiters are not that much of a problem for me.

And I've played more than the stats shows, just on an unranked clanserver with clanmates/good people i know etc: 212.235.255.3 - better chance of seeing me there.

OK. I would now say that getting the Vet badge is easy. Tips

1. Play on Kirkand. (The alleyways near the Hotel flag) OR Warlord (in the palace)

2. Make a squad with a Support guy. Make sure he never leaves your side and dropping ammo everywhere

3. Goto FF off servers. Not so much for TKing your team mates, by for not killing yourself.

4. Hide your C4 after you're killed about 20. People will wise up.

You can easily use C4 without TKing. People are more aware of C4 throwers these days and will hand back and wait for you to go 'click'. If not, wait until their are out of the blast range. (your end up saving their arse and they will thank you for it ---C4 throwers getting a good name :) )

Full severs or half filled servers?? -- try both. A full server does give you the bodies and empty servers will give you the time. But its all about the people your up against and how they play.
