What do you mean "for some reason it was in single channel"? If it is in single the reason is becvuase you didn't place the modules in the correct slots.
For our MSI K8N Neo4 mobos, dual channel only works in slots 1+2 or 3+4. ONLY those two combinations results in dual channel.
I don't care what other people are going to come in here and say about which slots, I have the same mobo as the thread starter, slots 1+2 and 3+4 is where the modules need to be. Make sure they are, and start with the slots closest to the CPU.
Since there is obviously confusion going on here...please goto that CPU-Z link I provided in the previous page...and tell us what it says for channel(dual or single), and memory speed(266mhz, 333mhz or 400mhz).
