This is english. Grab a dictionairy and look up the words. Explain to me how you get from "may not ... enforce restrictions on vehicles or weapons that players can use while on your server" to its OK to restrict vehicles and weapons. The words are just not there. You are trying to add the words "who uses" to this. You WANT it to read ""Server administrators may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on WHO USES vehicles or weapons that players can use while on your server".

Those words ARE SIMPLY NOT THERE. You and everyone else need to stop adding them.

§1.5 Server administrators may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on vehicles or weapons that players can use while on your server (e.g. knives only, aircraft prohibited except for clan members, etc.)
§ Infantry only Servers
§ Kicking Players who use vehicles or aircraft
§ Limiting certain vehicles or aircraft for non clan members

This rule deals with restricting physical weapons/vehicles. Pretty simple.

You mentioned earlier that people were inserting the words "who uses" into this statement, and you even used some flashy red letters to illustrate your point. I guess you were just too busy getting creative to notice this: "§ Kicking Players who use vehicles or aircraft"

"Who use" There it is, right there.

You (read: admin) cannot impose a "no flying" rule and kick people who fly.
You cannot kick/bann players who use vehicles/planes because you want an "infantry only" server.
You cannot impose a rule that states that only certain members are allowed to fly/use particular vehicle.


Now, the other rule.

§ Using C4 on jeeps, or other fast moving vehicles to take out other vehicles.
§ Clans may change or customize rules, provided they don’t violate the above ROE rules.

The other rule deals with vehicles & weapons and restricting access to those objects. This rule deals with the manner in which these vehicles/weapons can be used.

Let's pretend that rule #1 listed here is represented in red, while rule #2 is represented in blue, since you like colors so much.

Players are allowed to use jets, but they are not allowed to bomb a main base with them.

Rule #1 states that anyone can use a jet if they like, and no one can stop them from flying it. Rule #2 states that the person flying the jet can't drop bombs in a main base. These two statements are not in conflict.

In real life, you are allowed to drive a car. You are not allowed to drive a car into the front window of the local Dairy Queen.


Rule #1: Can't tell people that they're not allowed to use certain weapons/vehicles.

Rule#2: Can tell people how they're allowed to use those weapons/vehicles.

That says you can not restrict which vehicals, or weapons are used on your server. Theyfollow that with an example : 'No knife only servers', or no 'no grenade launcher servers'.
That should be obvious.
It say's nothing about restricting where those weapons can be used on the map.

Then they give an example in section #3 of rules that they say private ranked servers can make like no spawn camping non-cap, no base rapes, no C4 jeeps. They are not restricting the weapons themselves, just some of the uses of them, any only on private servers. If you don't like that, (or can't comprehend it), then play on a EA server.

my problem is with server admins who forget about those rules when it benefits them IMA!!!!!!! being the biggest cheaters on the planet

if the server says no uncappalbe raping then sourround it and wait for them to come out if you are getting raped and dont like it then leave simple as that

Then they clearly say in section #3 on Private ranked servers, you can ban the use of certian things. They themselves give acceptable examples. No base raping, No artty on non-caps. It's in their own words.

How come everyone else but you can understand that? They even give examples for people with poor reading comprehension skills. How can they make it any simpler?

No. Artillery and airplanes are indeed weapons.

No. If a rule says that you can't use a weapon at all, that would be a restriction. If a rule says that you can't use a weapon in a certain manner, that would also be a restriction. They're both restrictions, but they're restrictions on different things.

If a rule says "No one can use artillery" on a ranked server, then it is in violation of Rule #1 (Using "#1" and "#2" for clarity.)
