OK. The size of my circle is based on attacking a simulated tank in the form of the jet fighter or later the blackhawk. A tank needs some serious distance to me before they can elevate their turret enough. I could of course be shot down by a second tank but that hasn't happened yet. A tighter circle is more or less useless imo but I'll se what I can do.

OK made a small video of what I hope you were looking for. It's encoded with XViD. Goddamn rapidshare with their scripts. The same goes for putfile. Oh well enjoy!

EDIT: If that's not what you're looking fore give me some pointers based on what I did and I'll try to record it for you.

I looked at your video and thats a hard manouver to pull of i know that for a fact but i dont think thats it. Its harder to tell from the inside ive only ever seen it from the outside anway the guy im on about could do this with the no sideways tilt at all. The bit that im on about were the guy flys over to the heli pad and does the cone manouver 7 or 8 times while he repairs is on dragon valley at the wood yard the cones so unbleavably tight to miss both the trees and warehouse and his mosie is only a couple of feet of the floor.

I will have to agree with you ZULU, I think it's some kind of cheat also. The cone manuver can be done,but you have to have some kind of initial movement to get it started, and once you have started it the helo WILL DROP slowly but it will drop none the less. There are probably only 2 guys in this game that can do this with no intial movement and hold it for as long as they want. DJJEFFRO being one, and the other is trepid_jesse. I have logged alot of hours in this game also, and they are the only ones that I have seen that can do this. I have seen people TRY to do it, but it is not the same. If you guys have game monitor follow trepid_jesse to a sharqi or dragon valley map and you will see first hand the manuver in question. He is the best I have ever seen in a chopper. If there is anyone that is better PM me please. This manuver is the only thing that I cannot duplicate in this game. I have tried with the keyboard and mouse, joystick, and 2 different gamepads. The fact of the matter is if this is a legitimate manuver then more people could do it, not just 2 out of a million players. I just watched the video also and that is not it, the helo is not pitched enough, and it is being rolled to one side. That manuver I can do, and that is as far as I can get with control, but thanks for the video.

I was in a squad with a BuxB clan member, who was on teamspeak with trepid_jesse. He said trepid only used a keyboard/mouse, and not a joystick. FYI

I knew it coldmist, I bet everone is talking about the same guy. He is the only one that can do this manuver on the spot, and hold it forever, and he VERY RARELY MISSES with the hellfire or missles, not only that he can stop the spin, fire off a hellfire, smash whatever he wants go back to spinning with the nose planted on the top of the flagpole with the chopper almost straight up and down, spot stuff while he firing his missles and basically killing everything around him, cap the flag and move to the next one. He does all this sh!t BY HIMSELF. He never fly's with anyone. I've been tracking him for awhile now and he can do this in ANY helo. The way he is flying defies the game engine, helos in this game cannot fly like that. He is ranked 9the in the world but his stats make him 2nd next to DJJEFFRO. If there is anyone that can fly like this please make a movie of it and explain how this is done, but I don't think anyone else can. Yes i am almost 100 percent sure he uses the keyboard because he can switch seats extremely fast. I cannot believe that more people that has seen this guy fly haven't questioned his abilities.If you have ever seen this guy fly you will understand what I'm talking about. He is the best chopper pilot in this game hands down, but I will have to say that he has had to have modified something to do what he does in a chopper because no one else can do this.

I saw a guy doing it on Dragon Valley last night, wearing 1_18th tags, forgot his name though. Did well and consistantly, but he had a gunner. It isn't impossible, it isn't a hack, it's just skill with a KB/M.

hmm i don't remember the guys name but it did have noob in it and it was on an EA UK server . But it could be the same guy just playing with a high ping and different account (who knows). He could do exactly what you just said though go up to a flag stick his noise on it do a perfect cone manevour cap the flag and kill anything that spawned . Ive not mentioned this before in this thread or the other thread i started but he did fly exclusively alone .

How do you move the heli sideways with no tilt its impossible its against all the physics in the game.

I don't know AutoER, you will have to see trepid_jesse fly to fully understand what domination by a cobra is all about. I have TRIED to fly against this guy before and it didn't pan out very well, in fact I have never seem him lose a dogfight yet, he MIGHT get hit with a stinger from time to time, but thats about it. Like I said get game monitor type his name in and see for yourself. If it is a chopper map like dragon or sharqi you will be scratching your head, saying to yourself WTF.

the move is easy just get some speed and keep turning your helo... aint as easy with the havoc cos that thing aint as movable but in a cobra just keep spinning the heli in the opposite direction and maybe titl the heli but otherwise its quite easy to move arond a traget firing missiles at them...

You just don't understand Mr.Chris. What you are talking about is kinda of like what was in the video that was posted. Alot of people can circle a flag, but try spinning the helo from a dead stop ,15 feet off the ground,with no momentum, pointed straight at the ground and tell me how easy this is.If you can do this I would love to see a video of it, because if you can then there are 3 people in this game that can do it.

If they did it right the cobra helicopter and apache can both lean foward and sit there as long as they want. In the game when you lean foward you go forward... best way to do it for me is having mouse senstivity up to like 5.10.

I've seen this guy also and I about crapped by pants watching him cap a flag. My roomie who was playing at the time also yelled from the other room "did you see that ish?!?"

I've set up local servers where I can screw around by myself and have tried this over and over and I have no idea how he does it. I don't believe it is a cheat or hack because I've accidentally ended up in a very similar maneuver, but I don't know what I'm doing so I can't hold it.

It's crazy to see though.
