Forgiving ALL the TK's.

Hi guys...

Some guys in a Brazilian forum started a "campaign":
"I am tired of being punished for teamkills. From now on, all those who TK me and I've never seen or did something to me will be also punished."

A lot of people immediately agreed. So I decided to counter them... You know, punishing people is just stupid, and the more people press PAGE DOWN, the worse the things will be.

So, I changed my sig to "No more punishing! Forgive for 100% of the accidental TKs". And I did it. Some days ago, I started also to forgive ALL the TKs, including the clearly intentional ones. And it works, I've been receiving much less Punishes than I used to receive. Probably because when people see you don't punish them, they will remember of this when you TK them.

I tought it would be worthy to post it here;

ive been forgiving alot recently. its alot easier than seeing, "omfg noob whydd u punishh?" in the chat area and then having someone out to get you for the rest of the game

I always forgive, unless the guy is a jerk, or it was intentional, and even then most of the time i forgive unless its like the 3rd time tking me on purpose.

I also try to be forgiving, but it's hard. I seemed to get punished every time. It seems as if their finger is hovering over the page down because they do it without any thought. I asked a guy once why he punished even when I forgave him for TKing me. His response was that he hit the wrong button.

I've been punished for nearly every TK I've committed, yet I've suffered no adverse consequences for being punished.

I punish everyone I can, just to prove a point. Point being that it doesn't make a damn bit of difference if I punish you or not.

Some (a lot actually) servers will kick you after 3 Tk punishes earned.

If I'm on a server that I know has a really low setting on the autokick, I don't punish.

Then get a better grip on using explosives or whatever around teammates. The kicks expire at the end of the round anyway.

I always punish as well because:
1. I've never not been punished
2. It adds a punish and puts the fear of being kicked into someone to get them to be more careful
3. It kicks the noobs/smacktards faster.

Finally, in my opinion, you have to be playing really sloppy to get enough punishes to be kicked.

I've only been kicked for TKing once, and that was before a match, and the hosting team didn't have their server configured propperly. I took out my entire clan and got the boot.

i always stop and think about what had just happend and decide from there. a lot of the time its on accident and i know it was cuz i see what happens, hell, i have my accidentals too, we all do. but some could be avoided, and those are the ones i punish.

i got the worst tk, ever luckily i wasn't punished cuz me and that guy are pretty good squad mates....we were both piloting over wake, and we crashed cuz we both turned to our flanks and run into each other :P and it stuck me with the tk

I'm soft on TK punishing... but there's a few things that provoke me into the thumbs down just about every time.

Planes that bomb CPs without bothering to look for friendlies and end up costing you a cap.

People who grenade spam into a fray that would have been won by their guys they blew up.

C4 colateral damage when some guy is lob spamming it all over the place while you are trying to get stuff done legit.

People who TK for vehicles. Then vote to kick. Don't care how l33t they (think they) are. That's just stupid crap.

i was piloting a black hawk full of my squad members, i was bringing it down over a flag for a cap on mashtur (the point on the far upper right corner of the map on 64 player size). i normally pilot in 3rd person view (hit the view button once) and i was brining it down, i somehow hit the view button again, sending me into that view where it shows the front of the vehicle. but since i was so close to the building, my view was blocked by it. i ended up crashing right into the building cuz i couldnt see and get my view back in time. all but like 2 or 3 were killed.

Uh.. You deserve it? If there's anything I whine about while I'm playing it's that. I get very, very tempted to TK people that punish me because I never do it on purpose.
