BFv was bf42 on crack basically but its still fun to play sometimes infact i will play once in a while when i get tired of bf2 but im DLing mods mainly for it. but search for the 5th marines and you can find a decent server to play in at times if everyone is on at that time.

i installed it the other day and went for a few days of just straight up playign only it then i went back to bf2

wouldnt know, one thing is for sure, i would never go back to plastic fantastic 1942 again - i played for kicks a couple of weeks ago and ended up throwing it out lol games have advanced to far to enjoy tht now...

- BFV was awesome - did anyone ever play the official ww2 mod when it was popular? its three remake maps totally owned the bf1942 maps - i cant believe they never developed tht. they could have sold bfv to every purchaser of bf1942 over again. but instead they left it to die.... foilage on those maps made SUCH a difference..... what a shame....

Errr, i still have fun with bf1942. That's like saying people don't enjoy old games at all. If that was for sure, why would nintendo be adding that new feature to download all of the older games. Sounds great fun to me.
