Does anyone still play it since the release of BF2.
I think it was agreat game for people with ok computers. I still miss flying around and playing music. I also miss the stealthness of the game compared to bf2 where as the UAV and the Scan bascially shows where your enemy is the whole time. Don't get me wrong, there is some stealthenss in BF2 not is unrivaled by the style of Battlefield Vietnam....

Am i the only one that misses it?



Ive played all the battlefield series. I was ubsessed with the Desert Combat mod and played at www.21stcenturywarfare.net when it was dc and some bf2 there. I played BFV at vietnamcombat.net, two tournaments that not many new about but were a lot of fun.

I guess everyone has stopped playing these older games and saved up their hard drive and money for bf2. My computer is ok to play the game, but i could play bfv and bf1942 without any lag. BF2 is more demanding on the pc.

no i dont miss playing vitnam just full of chopper whoring and the weapons are badly unbalanced

bf 1942 on the other hand is a different story

Yeah it miss it sometimes, twas a great game even though it had loads of bugs and it was unbalanced..

I miss more is playing Desert Combat for BF1942 but I don;t play that or BFV anymore, I do miss it though

BFV was OK, dont play it any more. Still play DC sometimes.

i play it often, i hate BF2 , sry to say but the weapons are in BFV much more fun, hard to explain

if you fire the m16 on charlie ( enemy ) he is dead, no ********, he just dead

in BF2 you have to lie down, etc. etc. to reduce your croisair, ( dont forgot to bunny hop ! )

and i love jungle , and the music from the hueys ! ( the choppers were unfair BUT if you wanna do the vietnam way , just hide in the jungle / trees and stay down , you will survive, BFV is just not for bunny hopping noobs like in BF2


but BF2 has a good commander / squad system

i remember, good BFV times= In operation hastings at the US base, hueys were taking off and look for the NVA snipers in the jungle, alot of fun ! ( and a lot of bodybags were needed ! )

also the VC tunnel is fun to place in the US base, its a sneaky attack !

dc was also fun, love the tank battles
( DC pwns BF2 , you can see alot further and the M1 shoots nicer ! )

Personally, I thought BFV was crap. Soo far Desert Combat is the best BF series to date IMO. I still have hope for BF2, but I stopped holding my breath after the first patch.

I was feeling nostalgic the other day and played it for a minute. Exactly ONE MINUTE. That game is total crap. I miss 1942.

I loved BF-42 and BFV.For BFV it was a good game.I was really into it.Also the mods like POE were great.Bf-42 I was in ASW tournament it was great for Desert Combat.

I miss playing Bf series games.I have been with the franchise since the bf-42 demo came out.But know I can no longer play computer games
