I liked BFV too. For me it had a way longer lifespan than BF2, because of the great atmosphere, and you were actually able to hide & snipe in that game. Music was great too.

G-Capo - 21cw was a better dc tournament. they had the sweetest mini mod for desert combat

Long time no see, 1SG Triumph of the USA here. Hated by most, somewhat accepted by Zedic

I'm at 21CW right now but with the mapping and modding i've seen so far i'm not sure if i am going to stick around unless some real quality maps are used. You still around there?

BFV's balance was terrible, historical accuracy totaly off (trust me, i've gone through 1000's of pages web and paper), air units totaly unreal, and so on and so forth but most of Alf's custom stuff made the bloody game playible. Rockpile = <3 . And i am just waiting for EoD to come around since i love nam on a large scale but it's just a shame that BFV was just terrible in almost every way except the fixed wing units and some terrain. But it's not like BF2s basic gameplay is that much of an improvement. Maybe up to standard (finaly*taps Joint Ops and still laughs*) but nothing great. Well yay for the hacker toys of BF2, just zap the fun of the core gameplay outta the game.

Operation Prarie the Rockpile was an unrivaled. it was the greatest map ever made for 30 on 30 combat.

i actually just got it last week as it was goin cheap. seems like fun but only played it for like 30mins so far.
