    Re: Anger

There is a reason they mark warnings for parents: Gameplay experience may change while playing online.

It's a psychological problem. It is a reaction of frustration, and no real physical way of venting the anger, other than hitting or screaming.

I work in an educational system, and when this happens, normally between the ages of 8-14, the kids are then usually refered to the associated psychologist to find a way for the child to properly vent his anger. They normally suggest physical activity, or some kind of social interaction.

I hope this helps you realize you may have a problem friend. It may be funny to watch these losers throw fits, but I'm really worried about it, because it seems to happen alot more than your typical "Why the $%$# did you tell me to make Mario jump in the hole?".

    PEACE

Man... anger at that level (hitting random crap) is a sign that you need to be doing something else with your time...

          Re: Anger

Yeah, I never scream or hit stuff, but if I get REALLY frustrated I'll make really weird noises that sound like I'm dieing of some kind of rare disease. Or I'll start calling whoever killed me rude names under my breath (even if I'm typing something like "whoa! Good tactic!" while I do). I have throttled my monitor before, but it wasn't playing BF2. Sometimes, though, you really can't feel better unless the other person hears it. So I just say something like "I think I'm gonna be sick." Not insulting, but a nice way of releasing emotions.

The frustrating thing about getting mad about a video-game though is that 90% of the time the problem had no reason to occur in the first place, so most people won't folow the "just stop playing" solution.

I think 2 hours of supervised online play should be the new prerequisite to purchasing a firearm.

Same here. If a video game makes you *that* angry, then you need to stop playing and find a healthier outlet for your teenage angst. Masturbation, sports, anything else but computer games until you're mature enough to handle a kicking.
Unfortunately I think a great deal of anger expressed in BF especially is caused by the ranking system. Without it, I don't think we'd see half the stupid behaviour and insults we see now.
Last night for me was a classic case. On two successive Wake maps, I managed to almost singlehandedly suppress the Chinese AF with an F35. Boy, I've never seen so many vote kicks initiated, or bad language or insults coming from the attack helo and J10 wannabees. The more they complained, you name it I was called it, the more I enjoyed ruining their day.
The worst offenders where clan members, obviously playing in a pub server hoping to own the USMC in their air vehicles and rack up stats. Unfortunately they failed miserably and couldn't handle the situation. PT-Wars clan, you have some foul mouthed, spoilt little brats amongst your ranks. I hope you're proud.

I'd say to all; play to win, but please learn to lose gracefully.

I was agreeing with you meaning i said "cant say I have never been mad at a game before" that means I have.

                              Few examples:
Once through my tower across the room and then proceded to kick it
Broke many ps2 controllers in Final Fantasy Games
