doesnt look like a bad set...bit heavy (194lbs) though for me and i daresay too bulky in the 42" flavour..

why would you not consider a plasma for pc gaming... starting to sound like youre a CRT fanboi now...

you should consider one when its time to change you current monitor there are some really excellent sets out there, dont be disuaded by the hype you have heard go and see some and make you own mind up.

I've played PC games on several of my friends' plasma monitors. I don't like it how some of the colors seem to be way too bright or dark. I also don't like the fact that if you're not facing the thing head on you can barely even see the picture. Response time is also a factor.

As of now, my current monitor is kickass and serves me well.

I've also done in-store comparisons of monitors and TV sets. It just comes down to what looks the best in my eyes.

Plasma sets do look physically beautiful though. That's one thing I don't mind about them.
