'LOL' is an acronym, not a word. Also decimal points are represented by periods (ex: .), not commas. I could be more picky and say that the percentage sign and the exclamation point belong conjoined to the previous word, but I'll let it slide.

But really, the X-BOX 360 is a joke. It can not keep up with the PC. Granted it looks OK, that's it. I played mine today with the thought of what I saw today in my head and their is no comparison. I just can not grasp the level of a console equal to a PC. Please. Lets prove it. I will get some screen shots, or others please post sreen shoots of the same level as x-box 360 and lets compare with PC. X-360 little kiddies please let us PC people, To post the same map screen shots as the XBOX-360.

I hate to break it to anyone that thinks this new generation of consoles is going to surpass PC's, but it's just not true. Any screenshots or video clips you have seen of the XBox 360 or PS3, though they may or may not be realtime gameplay, they were developed in DirectX 9. (The XBox 360 is a beefed up version of 9.) The PS3 may look better than a PC game for a couple of months when it first comes out, but Windows Vista will ship with DirectX 10, which is quite literally going to change everything as far as PC graphics are concerned. Granted, we'll all have to get DirectX 10 GPUs to go with it, but the simple fact is that while the consoles will have all this next gen hardware (which is actually current gen stuff for us PC gamers) DirectX 10 along with Windows Vista 64 bit along with dual core processing is going to eliminate a lot of the resource consumption that we see with today's PC games.
You just wait and see. I've read many many many industry publications and forecasts for Windows Vista, and it looks as if all this is for real. Microsoft is going to hit the gaming community really hard with Vista and market it as a high end gaming OS. So in conclusion, history repeats itself again and PC gaming stays a step (or three) ahead of console gaming. There are some VERY inaccurate reports out there about slumping PC gaming sales, but those reports do not reflect profits from subscription based games or online purchases. They only reflect retail store sales. The industry has already made changes to that policy and 2006's numbers will include all these new mediums that PC gamers use to purchase their software.

15? Get a job then. As I stated in the other thread you don't need to continously update your hardware. Just save some money, wait, and in no time you will have a computer that will last as long as a console but surpass it in the graphics department.

Sounds like a bunch of uber retarded PC fanboys in here. Apparently none of you have played PDZ, PGR 3, or DOA 4 on a decent/good HDTV. The texture quality in these games far outweighs anything currently out on the PC.

Played the 360 on hdtv tv, it ain't all that. Been disappointed myself with consoles lately, used to play them. But I expected alot from the new generation. It ain't there. At best its above average pc quality. But as pc hardware upgrades every 4 months. I'll be telling you by the end of the year. The 360 will look dated.

nope sorry sonshine... you are ... HDTV comes in several flavors the highest bieng 1080p
PGR is 720p thats 1280x720 and face it compared to 1600x1200 thats pants.
PGR is nothing compared to the wealth of racing titles available to the pc the best imho is GTR, and it will also look daft once GT4 on the ps3 gets here.
DOA4 is 1080i thats 1920x1080 once again thats **** compared to a pc resolution.
DOA4 is a good game and looks top notch but tekken on the ps3 will laugh at it.. consoles have always been the home of fighting games and imho surpass the pc for this due to the communal nature of consoles anyway.
PDZ is 720p again ....

the only reason you console fanboiz are bangin on about how good it looks is because HD gaming has finally been introduced on the TV so your now approacing the resolotions that pc's have been enjoying for years..

you knocked on about how good it was when it came over (improved too) to the pc it was crap... there was more gameplay and fun in duke nukem. conbat evolved ? combat is bollocks and not challanging more like......
lastly i do know what im talking bout as i have a 42" HD plasma and have spent evenings playin with friends on a 360 but will be buying a ps3 when they come out.
