I boot people all day long for flying AND gunning. One or the other, not both. We consider that a cheat. If EA wanted you to do both, there would be no second seat.
If your clan was up against a clan that had a guy that did this, would you ban him then? lol

You play the game as is. As long as he is not using some 3rd party program or using some insane glitch (like that turret glitch/flying inside buildings crap), everything is ok.

Why do you find seat hopping a cheat? That's absurd.

Before it starts spinning violently. It's going to start, and it will take a minor amount of time to correct. That's that much time you don't have to bother second guessing. I'm not saying it's impossible, nowhere near impossible, but it's by no means the brightest thing I imagine to do in a helicopter vs helicopter battle, especially if the other person has a gunner.

You do have a point. However, there are some INSANE tv guiders out there that could very easily destroy the other chopper with the first missile while the duo misses, and loses the battle.

After that first skirmish, all the lone gunner has to do is fire a tv guide every 30 seconds (when the chopper respawns) and never let them up again.

Your right it does sound impossible, but somehow he pulls this off. I just want to know how.If you don't believe me like I said he is always on the Seal Team Six Server 70.86.12.58. If it's sharqi or dragon valley your jaw will drop when you see this cat in action. Go in with a good gunner or buddy and challenge him. If he ALLOWS you to get off the ground you will not last 15 secs tops, as soon as you see him switch seats it will be over. How he does it I don't know. The spinning thing is beyond me I have never seen anybody that could do this to date.

I learned to fly a helo/jet with a mouse, and got good at helos with it, jets... not so good. Once I bought my "Attack 3" (cheapest joystick pretty much) I was instantly better at jets and didn't play Karkand for quite a while, but I tried flying helos with the joystick and it seemed very hard, kept on crashing. Helo=mouse Jet=Joy (atleast how I like it)

Canada, I can fly choppers, and planes very well with anything, keyboard, gamepad, joystick, but what he does cannot be possible. I cannot believe someone else that has seen this guy fly hasn't questioned this.

I wish I did. Just go on that server when he is on it and see for yourself. If it's Sharqi or Dragon Valley you WILL be stunned.

I've seen guys circle a flag before, but not like this. He is almost straight up and down on top of the flag pole, and can hold it for minutes on end, not seconds, and to fire missles, spot, chaingun, and TV missile while he is doing it is insane. Velocity if you are that good teach me bro!
Yeap, I saw once a player did that before, on the airfield w/ his attack chopper, spinning around....in a crazy speed just 1 meter or less above the ground.
but the thing is, he is not attacking..

So I threw him 3 flash in total, and the next thing I saw:

There are two seats in the chopper. One for the pilot, one for the gunner. If you're on my server and you do not allow someone to gun for you because you think your l33t, then your not worth having on our server (just my opinion). Our server tries to promote teamplay and good sportsmanship. We play for the fun of the game and the teamwork, not to get into ****ing contests and show off. That being said, if you play on our server and fly around in the chopper by yourself and won't take a gunner, while shooting tv guided missles, then yes, I will kick most likely kick you. See, the game is designed to be a cooperative effort by everyone on the team. I would imagine (yes, this is an assumption) you also **** and moan when someone tells you to take on a gunner. Maybe you insult other players and tell them they suck at being your gunner. Maybe you're the type that gets upset when you can't be in the chopper and resorts to calling people names and making racist comments. Maybe I am wrong. I doubt I am, but anything is possible.

The chopper spins out of control for a reason. It does so because you're not supposed to switch seats. I know this may come as a shock to you, but some people like being part of a team and sharing the experience with others. Flying in a chopper should be a cooperative effort between the gunner and pilot. IMHO it is not a one man job. I suspect I am not alone in this thinking.

What you think is or is not absurd does'nt matter to me. You're not going to change your way thinking for me as I am not going to change mine for you. Everyone has an opinion and you think flying a chopper solo is cool. I think it's stupid and a waste of a gunners seat. We agree to disagree. As long as you are'nt doing it on my server, then it does not matter does it?

I was in a chopper with a guy who could do "the spinning thing". Yeah, he was good with them rockets too. Too good, I couldnt shoot a thing. Pi$$ed me right off. Hogged all the kills, when he was empty, he just fly back for refill. I just sat there doing nothing.
If there was a door I could open, I would of booted the c**t out

Honestly, how is spinning and hovering rock steady hard?

It's not. Mabey firing off TV missles and using the Gun while hovering rock steady is difficult, but definitely nowhere close to impossible. I've single handedly flown the BH and attack heli's switching between both the pilot's and gunner's seat and it isn't that big of a deal. There is quite a bit before the helicopter begins to lose control.

I'm not talking about just flat level hovering. Try hoving with nose straight down, and tell me how easy this is. I don't see anyone else doing this is what I'm saying, and if you can do it I'm sure there are 1000's of peolple that would like to know what the secret is. Out of all the people that play this game I bet there is less than 1% than can do it. You can fly agianst him if you want DISSO but I will put my money on Trepid.

                              Re: Chopper ability

1 foot off the ground is clearly a lie.
If you switch to second seat 1 ft off the ground, the engine winds down and you drop to the ground.
Taking down f-35s on dragon valley is no big feat, because unless chased by a j-10, they usually don't fly at full speed to scan for ground targets.

I'll buy that this guy is a great pilot, sure.
That he can defeat the game's internal laws and hover in second seat to gun at 1 feet altitude, no.

erm..you never said anything about hovering with your nose strait down.

Now that is litterally impossible. With the nose strait down, the main rotor blades will be facing forward, and with BF2's simplified AFM, there's nothing you can do from preventing the helicopter from moving forward.

                                Pics/screenies please.
