EA is about to make 1.2 retargrade and i really doubt i ll like it enough to keep playing this game

EA forced this game to be geared toward retards from the start with their "let's let everyone play, even the 3 year olds!" philosophy when considering how easy things should be. If it's taken you this long to realize that, you have a problem.

I'm so tired of seeing people complain about not being able to jump and huck C4.

C4 needs to be placed or stuck onto a tank, bridge, etc and then detonated from a safe distance. This patch simply makes the game a little more realistic in this regard.

Bouncing grenades from the GL? Awesome. They need to arm. Again, makes the game slightly more realistic.

Bunny hopping? Sure, it will continue and they will look stupid, but they won't be able to shoot back now. At some point they will have to stop hopping and then I'll shoot them. Again, a welcome change.

If all the people who constantly moan and complain about EVERYTHING would just uninstall and go play something else, this game would be much more entertaining.

I applaud EA for the changes that are forthcoming. If you don't like them, leave. I will personally continue to play because every little thing that bugs me isn't greater than the enjoyment that I get out of the game.

Only way to do that is make the game require using your brain. Currently, brains are only optional for using 95% of the objects available to you in the game. The other 5% of things you're better off WITHOUT your brain, as if you attempt applying logic, you're going to get a headache as Battlefield 2 will make every attempt to remove rational thought from the things it does.

MeWphIsT, I will keep this simple so your mind will take it in.....

If you don't like what you here's coming out, then bail and stop ranting here. It's pathetic that you bash everyone calling them a "retard"! Keep those sort of comments to yourself, AND please grow up.

There is all sorts of problems with BF2 and now they're getting fixed. I have many issues with people who think they are "skilled" to bunny hop with some sort of weapon/explosive (ie. C4 and GLs).
Let me put this simple (again), C4ing while bunny hopping and then detonating it is no form of skills. C4, in the game, should be used on Armor, Bridges, Artillery, UAVs, etc etc but not Personnel. You want something Anti Personnel, use Claymores, but knowing your sense of gameplay, you wouldn't last 5 minutes playing the game online.

Oh, and by the way I'm 20, and am probably more mature than yourself MeWphIsT.
To summarise, my advise is go back to school, learn to speak proper english, learn definitions of "retard", then quit playing BF2 because it won't be your game anymore, uninstall BF2, burn it and reinstall CS.

Starcraft is a good game, but currently I prefer Civilization 4. :p

I'm not quite asking for something that requires the same amount of intellectual exertion as writing a dissertation, but just something in which I need to at least practice more than 5 minutes to master anything in the game.

Then again, the dice decide your fate more often than not in BF2, perhaps THAT'S the true problem. :p

out of 8700 or so death I has, only 173 are done by C4, and that includes C4ed in a tank and death from Jihad run. I can safely say that I rarely die against C4 chunker

There is no stat showing how much you've been killed by a particular weapon (unfortunately). The "deaths" are how many times you have died while holding that weapon.
