Ya, i'm usually the lone support out there, but i've owned people before, um, don't look at my bad K: D ratio, it's cause of my days with the other LMGS. Anyways, ya, i spray like a madman with the MG36, but that's only cause the thing doesn't overheat until like 70+ rounds are fired in full auto. Anyways, where to download xfire, and how to use it? (srry, bad grammar)

I hate to bring bad news again, but 5 ft is considered point blank range. Anyway, no matter what some will love it some will not. I think the support weapons were fine. They are not supposed to be sniper rifles after all...

Ya, noobs think that when they're standing with a saw, firing at a target 100m away, they should be able to hit them all the time, that's why EA is changing them, i do agree that the L85 and G3 should have better accuracy, but sniper rifles and LMGs, that's just going TOO far.

In 'theory Battlefield', it sounds good. Better accuracy, but it takes longer to go prone = balance. I guess we'll see how it (really) is when the patch comes out.

I think that they should just have not adjusted anything for the LMGs at all, they're fine now, anyways, i'm fine with fast proning, as long as u can't do the damn speedroll thing (strafe+prone, it doesn't look like u are rolling, but to the enemy, it's like impossible to hit u, and it looks unrealistic) and same with dolphin diving and pronehopping (not to be mixed up with dolphin diving, pronehopping is when u rapidply press prone and jump, it makes the illusion to the other player that u are levitating in the air, up and down, and staying prone the whole time, looks fricking hilarious (in a bad way) and it's like impossible to hit people if they do this).

EDIT: Aviation, what's ur xfire name? Mines eddy01741.

EDIT: Aviation, Congrats man, it's ur 2000th post hoorah for u! (BTW, ur on my buddy list at this forum)

It's a good thing. Most of the time I'm already set up in position before anything happens anyway.

I'm the opposite of that, i always assault using the support class, run in, go prone when i see enemy, lay a wall of 'lead' (actually, metal, but lead gets the point across better) But i also am set in position when i know the enemy is coming, then, it's easy kills, as long as the guy isn't C4 whoring, or a noobtuber.

I like the support class too, and personally I think it's ridiculous to just hit the deck at the sight of an enemy and start hosing immediately with great accuracy. Not realistic, and not needed. Accuracy will make up for this and support players will hopefully be used appropriately.

ie. Finding a nice spot, laying there, and defending by hosing down the slews of idiots that come your way.

I made like 20 kills doing this by laying in the giant warehouse thingy building at the MEC base in Karkand. Layed down on the balcony and let loose, was awesome. That was the precise moment I fell in love with the PKM! On that note, I'm a bit disappointed that the PKM is even better, because I find it unstoppable right now. I used to bash it, now I worship it. Amen.

no actually, when u go prone and burst, the hits do register.

I don't even burst with the MG36, the max dev gain is already reached after 2 consecutive shots, so i just go all out full auto, and it works extremely well, i rarely use the burst function on that gun.

It's a hit and miss with the LMGs. Some days you'll do good with them, some days you don't. I swear, BF2 is a luck game.

I just went to play Karkand with the SAW and man, I pwnt! I ranked top at the end of the round with 70 points and 29 kills. Luckily most of my kills were from players who didn't bother moving when getting shot and was relatively close.

Ya, i've gotten very high score rounds with the LMG (85+ score rounds just with ammo bags and MG36), i just love bunnyhopping noobtubers that can't aim, they shoot a noobnade at me, it misses, they start bunnyhopping frantically while they reload, i kill them easily. I don't see why noobtubers don't change to the AR, especially when ur going against an opponent that can fire a wall of lead at u (again, lead is just to get the point across).
