For one, you can already bounce handgernade.
This is true. I think people are going to be surprised when they try bouncing but forget about the arming distance.

But question. If the M203 hits an object before its arming distance, and rolls onto the ground, is it going to go off, since its not a normal grenade?

All I hope is that the accuracy of the guns to be improved is only increased slightly. The last thing we'd need is for them to be too accurate, then we'll see tens of threads here complaining about this issue instead of the noobtoobers. There's enough complaining around here as it is.

As much as I like the idea of improved support guns, I didn't think they were that bad. Also, I hope DICE haven't nerfed the flashbangs too much, just a little.

I tell ya, it's a fine line DICE are walking here. If they get all the fixes/changes right, it'll be a miracle. I hope...I hope.

Edit: Oh and I think that GL's bouncing off walls is great. If any of you play the rifleman class in DoDS, you'll know how useful it can be. Depending on how exactly DICE has implemented it, imagine, you could fire you nade launcher from cover, deflecting it toward the enemy.

Don't know about DoD..but in ET engineers have rifle grenades too. I've seen pretty amazing shots done with it.

Here's a good video. It doesn't show you exactly what firing a 'nade looks like, but the effects it can have

I love Source engine physics :p

Another question, since mines can no longer be destroyed by explosives, is this inclusive to arty, grenades, tank main guns, etc... or just C4? If so, that's pretty lame, and yet another unrealistic addition to make the game more realistic?

When the c4 is on the ground you can quickly trigger it by pressing right and then left mousebutton. This is a strong weakening for the Spec Ops class.
Excellent! I can't wait to see some noob run up to me and chuck a C4 then blow it and blows himself to bits, haha!

the thing i'm most happy about is the sniper accuracy. about damn time.

Not really. Its done because you can't actually bury the mines (which is the whole point!) So its just making them more of the area denial tool that they are intended to be.

Being able to destroy them with a tank kinda defeats the point of an anti-tank mine really

Not really, you couldn't destroy them before v1.03 and it was lame, people complained, now you can destroy them and people complain, just proves you can't please everyone all the time. I get AT mine kills everytime I play engineer, and can place them were you can't shoot them or see them, you just have to do what engineers already do and use your head when placing them.

The real purpose of mines is an obstacle, but the reason they are effective is there are so many, not that you can't destroy them.

I hate walking around a corner and seeing 2-3 dead bodys and knowing, without even looking, that what ever killed them is now looking at me.
You hit it right on the spot. People consider it amazing that I can take out a APC and tank on Karkland without taking damage. I call them out before I even shoot at them.

I do the same thing with jets. I call them out the entire game, because I figure our pilots need a little help attacking the didging pilots.

Spotting enemy choppers also makes lots of tank drivers really happy!

Hopefully the enemy that killed the guy you try to revive will manage to kill you before you do..
