Re: more patch info from guys who tested it

It's funny when they n00b-tubers come around the corner and fire at me point blank, killing themselves (suicide! -2 for them) and giving me points for damage assist (i usually get several shots off). Usually a medic is behind me and revives me so I don't get a penalty for it. =P

yeah, but the problem is, whenever you're in a big group of medics, you will somehow end up NOT getting revived, because everyone else is too lazy to freaking get their paddles out.

I'm willing to bet that after the patch, when - as the OP predicted - many assault guys switch to medic, many people will be calling for a nerf of the g36e.
Also, what's the news on the AT mine tossing (grenades apparently still work) and the TV range?
        How ridiculously low is it now? 500m? 400? 300? 100? 50? 1?

I personally think they should've, dunno, FIXED the goddamn thing before even thinking about lowering the range only so much as 1 nanometre.
I mean, 1 our of 18 missiles a cook-up; the missile count-down bug (where all your missiles just drop to zero and the currently chambered one just fires straight out); the f*ckups in the missile view and control - sounds nerfed enough to me alright.
But hey, I'm sure when everyone starts using the chopper to hop on people like Super Mario Bros. and shooting infantrymen in the face from 1mm distance with the TV missile, everyone will be very happy.

Dolphin diving is no longer possible, this because going to prone takes longer now, is actualy bad because infantry will get major setback against vehicles now

Thank god. Maybe ill reinstall BF2 then.

I don't see how this is a 'set back against vehicals'? I never was a dolphin diver, but is that how other people handled APC's, by D-diving?

I just ran away, maybe jump a little to avoid getting shot, I never even thought about diving, seemed quicker just to run since d-divers looked like they were moving kinda slowly.

Diving behind a nearby obstacle can be vital when fighting a tank. Or laying prone, standing up, firing an AT round, proning again.

I never though of that as dlphin diving, just ducking after shooting. Now repeating that over and over again quickly, that to me was d-diving.

We can still duck, though it will be a bit slower. Since a never really play AT, I was dead when a tank showed up anyway. Medics and snipers don't engage tanks very well., I'm afraid, lol.

As a Medic you can (and SHOULD) aid your teammates by keeping the tank on their map, by SPOTTING it.
That is easily achieved by popping in and out of cover as I described above.
However, if the delayed prone leads to me paying bitterly for my spotting the tank, I (and many others) won't bother with it anymore.

I always spot enemies, tanks and infanty. If possible a spot before engaging, in case I die at least my teammate will know that danger in near. I really wish more people would use the spot feature.

I hate walking around a corner and seeing 2-3 dead bodys and knowing, without even looking, that what ever killed them is now looking at me.
