Push the left mouse button? Always works for me. Of course, I aim carefully first, and pray and cuss a lot.

No, a chest shot with the m95 does not insta-kill at ranges less than 100m. I know this because I like to knife snipers. Alot. There is not damage modification for range.

I completely agree, most people will at first look up ontop of buildings and by then you can shoot them again. Thats why i love hiding in low spots because nobody even looks there. I was once sniping on karkand right in the middle of the road and the other team kept on looking above the roofs at market.

If i'm like < 200m away I can usually finished them off with the pistol. The pistol is WAAAAY underrated and actually is one of my favs.

The M95 is still an essential sniper unlock because you're screwed playing as MEC or china otherwise. I'd rather have a G36C or assault rifle than the Druganov/china sniper.

I prefer to snipe people with my G36C not only does it humiliate snipers (I did this once to some sniper on the long end of the crane on sharqi) - it is indeed satisfying to know that you killed someone at such a long distance with a non-sniper weapon.

Other than that- It's also quite fun to whip out the pistol for the final shot/s- and turn it into a pistol kill.

Underestimating semi-autos will be a big mistake for you and i hope to meet you on the battle field to make you curse on "how that could happen always dieing from SVD"

SVD can be a pain in the butt if it's in the right hands.

At mid to close range you can finish a target off much quicker with the semi-auto snipers than you can with m95/m24 (unless you whip out your pistol). Get on top of a building on Ghost Town with the semi-auto and you will pwn faces, don't forget to use your grenades either.

I prefer semis over the bolts, except for long range shots, since the semis don't have as much zoom. (The Type 88 barely has ANY zoom).

The M95 rules because I love to shoot pilots out of choppers. I like to fly too so I know how much it hurts to finally get in that chopper and then get your head blown off.

I like to use all the default sniper weapons. After mastering those, the M95 is a breeze.

I still mock the SVD and china sniper. M95/24 and pistol or some other weapon like a G36C or assault rifle are just as good at the range those sniper rifles seem to become useful.

I wouldn't bother with sniping unless the rifle is accurate enough to let me hit people from across the map. (think crane on Gulf of Oman)
