lol,i normaly give him 3 sec,so he thinks he made cover b4 i pop them again,or my fav (the kill stealer)
see some one pounding a mouinted mg at a heli until it really smokin then pop a .50 in to the heli to get multi-kills :)

It's stylisher to make a pistol kill , especially because it's silenced the other guy is like: 'WTF!!!1111 5 kil dmage assists, teh fuk?11' All that is left is to make a good laugh through your mic.

I would agree that Karkand is an underrated sniper map. You will really rack up KDA's on that map. I honestly cannot wait until the patch to try out the new accuracy on the M-95. I still think the accuracy needs to be increased a bit for all the rifles. When a medic gun is just as accurate as a sniper rifle...thats a problem.

Irregardlesslywise ( :P ), the sniper kit is very underrated and lots of fun to play. I love how most players treat snipers as more of an annoyance than a real threat - probably because...well...most aren't a real threat. But for those of us who can tag a sprinting enemy from 150M (not a reflection of my innate skill but a reflection of a stubborn person who doesn't know when to give up after 2 months of dying a lot and, to his surprise, finds that all that practice has made him good and that he likes to write run-on sentances in BF2 forums). That is all. Time to get back to work!

Snipers are there to rack up kills while not dying, but they only contribute a little to the overall team effort, they don't cap any flags and they can't stop vehicles from rampaging around the map...

Oh yeah, we NEVER stop flag captures. Everyone knows a bullet to the brain of the capturer doesn't stop him from taking the flag!

Also, everyone knows spotting vehicles and other snipers and infantry and spec ops and whatever else NEVER helps.

Not to mention how shooting jet pilots before they can take off doesn't helps.

Take your grenade launcher and go shoot a little infantry, I'll be defending the flags and scouting the entire map from one spot.

P.S. We capture flags almost as easily as any other class.

On-Topic, does 1 shot at close range really kill unarmored people?(with M95, my baby)

Man i love being a sniper, i used to mostly play assualt but if yoou check my stats, my name Adge2 since switching to being a sniper i have done a lot better in K: D ratio. I just love when you shoot someone and they don't die just go prone like a sitting duck for you to finish them off :laugh:

Is the M95 actually any better than the M94 cos ill be getting another unlock quite soon so i need to know if its worth it? But i spose it would be fun to take out a chopper pilot in mid air :p

If the M95 isnt worth it, i seriously dont know what is. For all effective purposes(most of us arent trying to pull off 1000m headshots), it is just as accurate as the m24 when in prone. also, even if you cant plug a chopper pilot out of mid air(very hard to do, because it may be moving FAST, and the bullet gets refracted by the glass), a shot to the windshield of a cobra does a good bar and a half to two bars' worth of damage.

I agree with the staying in one point for a peroid of time. I've spent alot of time snipping, and I learn some of the good spots from other enemy snipers.
Sometimes I do move in a different spot buy in the same general area. When I am killed by someone, when I spawan, I go a looking.

Everything thats involved killing, a sniper can help in, not directly by capturing flags but by covering your teammates in a real effective way, covering your tanks from spec ops guys with C4, covering anyone in a major gunfight or appear to cover someone and steal their kills:p

Sorry, I disagree with this one. As a sniper I have been able to defend and recapture flags by staying near our flag. Also by spotting an enemy force helps the air attack blow them like it has so many times. Snipers are not just for killing enemy in an open area, they are great for defense, since no one plays that in BF2.

Oh gosh I remember how effective this is for tanks and APC's, if you see an enemy APC or Tank that cant shoot you but that has spotted you, they will get out and walk to you. So moving then, is an awsome strategy.
Maybe even taking HIS tank after he exits it. He will come back like....."hmm where is he, omg why is there a red name above my Ta...*BOOM!*"

in those cases, if im using a tank im usually spec ops so i throw a couple of C4 packs on it....so if you wanna steal my tank when ive hopped out for a little bit then be my guest :)
