LOL, nah I didnt bring them here, I havent been active at their community for a long time. Was there when they had a wicked Demo server and after they closed it down I left. But good impression still remains and I cant help but stand up for them.

Funny how you ignored my post chris. Ill quote it for you so you see it again.

I guess youve already noticed that this thread doesnt revolve around you for quite some time, god damn that hurts, doesnt it?
Sry to double post.
But dude, what about Wreck who got banned FIRST ROUND because he was doing well in a jet. Are you saying its his fault too?Did they show a good sign of sportsmanship when they banned him FIRST ROUND?
Get real man,stop being stubborn.
I think you're wrong 100%. They shouldn't be able to do that on ranked servers.
Re: Kicked for being too good in Moongamers server?
I didnt ignore it.
1) I wasnt there to comment the situation now
2) Most of the people who say they were banned/kicked for something they didnt do but they suspect a reason, usually violate another rule they forgot or dont want to mention. I see this all the time.
2) This could have been a misunderstanding, which in a server with many newlyrecruited admins and a variety of different admins is bound to happen.
But this all falls back to option 1, I dont know the details so I cant tell anything without a high risk of being wrong.
Now youre most likely going to tie this up to colonys case, which would be wrong because that guy has provided us all with plenty of information to debate/argue on this issue comfortably.

Is it unfair for... You? Youre basically the only one who has gone so far because he was taken away his only toy he can play with. I fully understand you, after all, you cant enjoy the game unless you at least rack up 100?
In the entry post where you so selflovingly thought of yourself the ultimate ownage by flying a jet for 5 rounds before you got banned/kicked, in the official complaint note you specified the ammount of the jet whoring as... ~3. Which makes you a liar, a desperate kid who would stop on nothing to DESTROY the MG servers and cause TERROR upon those who oppose the continuation of YOUR ownage in the skies. YOU OWN! NOTHING CAN STOP YOU!
Maranello, so far it seems there are two fronts. The personal and the legal issues front. Personal being the one where this guy things hes the "****" and other people making fun of him. The legal issues discussed are the ones stated in the ranked server rules and its differences with the MG server rules.
And since colony came here bashing MG, its only natural to assume that MG people will come over.
I said 5 to give them the benefit of the doubt. I put ~ which means around 3 rounds im sure. It doesnt matter if it was 10 rounds or 2, so I dont care.
And points. I dont play for points. I said I racked up around a 100 points to show how good I was doing as I believe this was also a reason for me being kicked. Think whatever you want, I dont care. If I played for stats I would play whenever I have time and kills as much as possible and not play on moongamers because the quickest way (which most pilots do) to get points is to spawn camp, which I dont do which Is why I still play on their server. So if you think Im concerned with points, you are mistaken.
This is all a legality issue now. Unfair for who? Unfair for me and any other jet/helo/armor "whores" who have this happen to them, not just on moongamers, but any RANKED servers. Its unfair to the players who paid 50 dollars on day one to play this game fairly in ranked servers in whatever vehicle they want to play in. Remember, when you have a ranked server, you are under contract to abide by EA's ranked server rules. Those rules are there for a reason, to keep the game fair for ALL who play, not just those puppy lovers like you, and not just the rabid baby eaters like me.
Colony, You are correct kicking someone from a server for spending too long in a particular vehicle is against the RoE. As long as you were not tk'ing for the plane.
e. Server admins may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on vehicles or weapons that players can use while on your server (e.g. knives only, aircraft prohibited except for clan members, etc.)
f. Server admins may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on roles or kits that players can use while on your server e.g. Commander, Squad Leader, Spec Ops, etc.)
As Admins of either a Public EA or Private Ranked Servers you cannot kick someone from a server just because they spend 3 rounds flying Jets/Helo's.
However is said person is using the vehicle disruptively and generally causing a nuisance to everyone else on the server then the Admin reserves the right to kick the player for disruptive gameplay.
Privately Rented Ranked servers can enforce some local rules as long as the do not interfere or contraviene the Globally Enforced Ranked Server Rules."

This is exactly my point, they are not allowed to kick or ban for it. We can fly in jets all we want on ranked servers as long as we dont teamkill etc. for it.

I think guys that fly don´t get it.
We don´t hate beiing owned (at least me), You only owned me If I was fighting against you, the only thing that annoys me is when we are having a good fight and some pilot drops bombs killing me and my adversary in the process (There should be massive penalites for a pilot who kills own troops).
We don´t fight you because AA is useless and now most of us don´t even try to shoot at you...so it is easy to be in the air when no one tries to shoot you down.
The only thing that you shold worry is no to crash and choosing your targets.
Basicly I ignore planes until they drop a bomb...and then ignore them again.

I know of one provider in Australia, who ban people who attack uncappables.
Mack please don't go there. Please wait for a post I will make regarding this unless you haven't already read the previous post regarding it. We have this rule and it is totally within all the rules for "private" ranked servers. You won't get anywhere by reporting this whatsoever, as the said server is well within their rights to have such a rule, I guarantee this!
The fact remains if you don't like it, don't play on that server. Nobody forces you to play on that server however if you do play on that server you must respect their rules. If you don't respect their rules expect to get kicked or banned and there is nothing you can do about it, that is a fact from someone who knows what the rules are and how they can be enforced and what can and can't be done.
We have run a BF2 ranked server from day 1 BF2. (Only Aussie in the world the world to have a ranked server) We were one of, if not the 1st, in the world, to have a "private" ranked server and because we not only abide by and respect the rules we have a very intimate understanding of what can and can't be done trust me.
Our negotiations to get a private ranked server begun "before" BF2 was even realeased as a retail version. Believe you me, many sleepless nights were involved in us getting a ranked server and I assure you we know all the rules regarding ranked servers inside out!
Mack this rule is well within the rules for running a "private" ranked server and as I said reporting them will get you nowhere and the simple solution is if you don't like it, don't play on it and don't complain about it because you will simply waste your time I guarantee it and that goes to everyone else who complains about such rules.
However if you still feel the need to report the server goto www.bf2rankedservers.com and make your point.
I will also respond as to the topic of what rules are excepted and allowed and also respond to some people questions or beliefs, or misconceptions as to what "they think" can or can't be done on ranked servers, but as an Aussie I wanted to respond to Mack 1st .

here we go again, the same old stuff.
Ranked server admins, may NOT kick players because of their rules such as "vehicle whoring, spawn camping" and so on. they sign a contract with EA when they get that server, and that contract clearly states that every human being will have a right to play in that server in any way they want to as long as it's not against the EULA. They can't stat pad, or hack, or teamkill, as these things are against the EULA. However, everyone can do whatever they want to do. You want to get in a plane and keep bombing their main base, you can do that, you have a right to do that, and you should do that. They kicked you? they banned you? Go to BF2 ranked servers' website, file a complain, and see if there is going to be any server left if they keep up their "vehicle whoring" rules in a few days.
Final words, NO you can not rule the server just because you own the server. That's a ranked server, that's different, there is a different contract involved. If it was an unranked, public server, you could do whatever you want to do. But as much as as the server admin you can't just lock down the server and stat padd with your friends, you also can not kick people just because their way of playing the game is against yours and you can't take it.
Well 1st of all I would like to say to maranello, I was "very" disappointed that you locked the thread, which is what I saw happen, after my post basically saying that "you" were wrong. I stand by 100% what I said because your understanding of the Ranked Server Rules is incorrect, somewhat ignorant to say the least, which I think you seem to see now after you did a little research for yourself.

The last time i checked www.bf2rankedservers.com, there wasn't that 3rd part in ROE where server admins *could* do this and that. But let me tell you this, i have been playing BF2 since the day it was released and i have never ever been kicked or banned from a private server, public server, clan server, for any of that reason. BUT, if that was the case, if i was some plane freak, and they would ban me for dropping bombs on the aircraft carrier or stuff like that, i would go to the law center the next day (we get free advice and usually free lawyers at school) and i would bring a lawsuit and i guarantee you, you would be amazed how that would change in less than a month. That is so unfair and that is so nonsense. You have a game, and there are main rules for that game, no hacking, no stat padding, no teamkilling, other than that, you can not limit the way people play the game or you can not make it in a ranked server. Because ranked server is something that affects people's stats. You would really be suprised if you knew how many lawyers out there who make a living out of these "wording games" and this is not one of those "oh i bought BF2, i am unsatisfied, the game is buggy, i will sue EA" situations, this is the invasion of rights, equality and more and more.
But at the end, i don't care. I have never been kicked for those reasons. In fact i have never been kicked or banned for any reason except that 3 teamkill=kick/ban thing. So it really doesn't bother me.
I must say I was very shocked and some what bemused to see you say you would take legal advice and possible legal action (against who? I wasn't sure whether it be EA or the ranked server involved) Geez this is a game and its meant to be fun, which is a concept some people seem to often forget. There are 1000's of servers out there and if you don't like a servers rules suck it up and play elsewhere, simple enough solution isn't it? Don't come here and whinge about a servers rules and try and say they aren't legal when you have no idea at all as to the "real facts" or what is legal and what's not.
You call others whiners, but some of your statements to me leave a lot to be desired and are somewhat radical to say the least. All I can ask is that you don't try and say over and over again what "you think" the ranked server rules are and then expect the rest of the BF2 community to "automatically" believe them as gospel because you are a TBF2 moderator. I think your role here is to moderate the forums as an impartial observer, not to be someone who is extremely opinionated and ignorant to what the real facts are, what the real ranked server rules are, correct me if I am wrong. Fact are facts.
Now having said that, I don't mean to sound harsh towards you. It’s nothing personal, but you have to understand that having a “moderator” tag leads some people to believe what you say as gospel and in this case you are totally 100% wrong whether you believe it or not or like it or not.
You are a respected member of the BF2 community and in a way you are leading people astray with your false information and personal opinion. These people deserve to know better. As I said before, Facts are Facts, opinions are merley that.
I know the Ranked Server rules inside and out. Including the EULA, TOS & ROE. I have to know this because I'm responsible for running a Ranked Server and if we break a rule we risk our server being shut down. I have a vested interest in our server obviously because so far we have paid thousands of dollars to run and host it and knowing these rules is just a part of running our server. It’s our obligation to know them and apply them otherwise we will not have a ranked server simple as that.
We try to provide a place where other BF2'ers can play BF2 for fun, a place where we can try to ensure their maximum enjoyment of the game. A place they can for a moment forget everything that is wrong with this game and play it how it was intended, "for fun". All of our rules and admining decisions abide by the above mentioned rules and regulations.
What concerns me, is you seem to be responsible for running a Ranked Server yourself despite having a comprehensive understanding of the TOS/EULA/ROE. As a “player” on said server I would be somewhat concerned to say the least. However you seem to state the “no rules are good rules” policy and that is probably your biggest savior. However please be aware that with the “no rules are good rules” policy you can still break all of the above terms and conditions.
Please don't question a "private" ranked servers' rules whilst being ignorant to the facts, it not only makes the person making these claims look silly, it also leads to the urban myth as to what can and can't be done on ranked servers, which obviously is a big problem, otherwise a thread like this wouldn't exist.
Again I prompt people to find out the facts for themselves and get a "genuine" understanding of just what the correct facts/rules are. By all means go to bf2rankedservers.com. If you choose to make a claim against a server, because of one of their rules, I suggest before you do so, you know what the "real" rules are otherwise you will simply be wasting your time and merely being a whinger and that's a fact!
I'd welcome IndianScout from bf2rankedservers.com to come and give his thoughts as to what the "real" rules are for Ranked Servers, as he has done before here on TBF2 in previous threads
Facts are facts and rules are rules. By people saying over and over again what they think is wrong or being ignorant to what the real rules are doesn't do the community any favours. Obviously a lot of people are confused about them, for good reason so it seems. Lets fix this once and for all so everyone understands.
I can't obviously get everything out in a single post and respond to everyone's claims. I am not agreeing with or endorsing what Moongamers does. I just don't know all the facts regarding their rules/policies, how admins behave and would be a fool to comment about them, which others have and how they enforce them etc. However its also not my place or right to suggest that their rules are not either just or fair. They pay to play BF2 also so their guests can play for free and if their guests can't respect their rules then don't come here and cry about them because it will get you absolutely nowhere because those who do, do not have a single clue about "private ranked server rules and if they get kicked from their server for breaking their rules deserve it.
This has gone way beyond a debate about Moongamers rules. Of which I will not comment on whether they are good or bad rules. That is the decision of the people who "pay to play BF2 so others can play for free".
Obviously I can't answer everyone's opinions and express the facts in a single post however, including colony who whinged about the rules and created this topic on his opinion of what is right and wrong regarding ranked server rules is quite simply incorrect, misleading, totally opinionated and also totally ignorant to what the "real rules are".
I will however make another post regarding our rules, how we enforce them, our own personal Admin rules, how decisions are made to give you some insight from an admins perspective of just what it is like to admin a "Private BF2 Ranked Server". Contrary to popular belief any admin worth their salt would say they" hate to have to admin and only want to play the game and not have to deal with rule breakers, tk'ers, disruptive gameplay, abusive and sometimes rascist language combined with many, many more problems we face!"

Re: Kicked for being too good in Moongamers server?
And just because you tell me "hey colony, you are killing me too much, would you mind parachuting out of your jet and fight on the ground cuz I cant do anything about you when you are in the air" isnt gonna make me hop out my jet to fight on the ground.
If you re-read what I wrote you would notice that I was on YOUR TEAM so how could you be killing me too much?
