This is the second post that has this preposterous conclusion. How the hell are you supposed to share a vehicle if you aren't getting destroyed? Are you supposed to crash on purpose? Get out and apologize for not dying?

    Give me a goddamn break.

It happens all over the place, nothing unusual

There are two kinds of these people
1- noobs shouting "OMG HAXOR!!11" after you shot his level flying jet down 5 times in a roll, while he was trying to .... bomb, although at least 200m off target.
2- admins who just dosnt like losing, or being pointed out of their pathedic behavior. I got kicked yesturday because I said "I wonder if I should join the rape fest you got there", I guess they were pretty sensitive about the topic, (even though they shamelessly do it), and kicked me after saying "but its our server, so you are gone"

Re: Kicked for being too good in Moongamers server?

surviving in a jet is much easier that surviving in a tank or chopper or APC or anything else in the game.
Given the fact that AA is uselss in this game, then an admin must interfere sometimes to stop such a huge imbalance in the game.

Look... if I spend hundreds of hours in a jet then I am sure I will become too good with it. You are "good" player not because you are very skilled only, but because no one can touch your jet.

A tank is such a big and slowly moving target. It keeps telling you "I am here! hit me!" but a jet is totally different. It says "I am here! :p "

DICE wanted the game to be like a paper-rock-scissor thing. the jets in bf2 are definitly not like that. Do you remeber that introductory movie in the game? a linebacker is supposed to take down a low flying jet. That is how it is meant to be.
In reality it is true that a jet is very hard to take down, but that is true only when you fly at a very high elevation. if you can bomb something by strafing barely over the ground then you should be within the AA no-fly-zone. It should be very easy to take you down, but still you can survive such a situation in bf2.

I believe it is very legitimate to kick those who execlusivly play with the jets because the jets are overpowered.... way over powered.

A tank cab be destroyed using C4, AT Mines, AT Rockets, TOW, Artillary, choppers, jets.

A jet can NOT be taken down by anything but other jets. Being too good in a jet is not something to brag about it in this game. Once the AA starts working then come back and let us know how "good" you are.

jets are only overpowered in your mind because you and or your team cannot fly jets, or are not willing to attack the other jets. Each team gets 2 jets, and if you dont want to engage the other jets, obviously they can fly around and do whatever they want to do. With me, I dont let that fly. Soon as I see a jet, it goes down.

Did too. Devoted a round for AA only. Downed 3 jets with the IGLA. Got 5-6 positive hits.
                  With Essex, its even easier.

While being able to fly / survive / bomb with the jets is easy, your life is dependant on the lack of good pilots on the other team. A good pilot will pick dogfight over bombing (i dont want to add "runs" because that makes it even more pathedic), and a short dogfight filters all those wannabes from those who can really fly.

You guys make it sound as if the AA is fine which is not true.

I knew some really good pilots in DesertCombat. You could still take them down if you insisted on that. it was not that difficlut especially with the SA-3. They could make 10-15 kills at most before getting killed. If the AA becomes fine, then our hats will go down for you if you can get 100+ points every round without getting killed.

Another thing that annoys me with the jets are the pilots who take the J-10 and work almost execlusively against the infantry. They carry those two bombs and keep bombing the ground and reloading. People like you do not like to fly with the bombers simply because they know they wont survive because of the AA.

if you want to bomb the ground then go and take the bomber. if you take the J-10 then you should be hunting other jets. I think this is mainly a poor design by DICE. they were supposed not give the fighters any bombs.

what if other jets never have a chance to take off? in the rest of the time, what do u do? let the ground forces of the opponent team get the flags?

as i said, if u think there's totally no skills involved in being a good pilot, just answer me a simple question: why cant alot of ppl survive in a jet over 5 mins?

errr I get just as many points in a Su34 or F15 as I do in fighter jets, maybe even more depending on the map. Also, I never try to fly the superior jets, I usually like to play with US jets which are somewhat inferior to the MEC/Chinese counterparts. Im looking forward to the Eurofighter which I will take down many a J10 with.

What is jet whoring? I'd like to know. It must mean "you are too good so we have to kick you" :p
Well, Moongamers clearly state on it on their servers: No equipment whoring.

Unfortunately this is a good thing for everyone. It's about time you stop leeching free points and move onto a server where your skills will be accepted and you might even have a rival.

Did you also like my little present I gave you before I left the server? *colony jumps into F-35 and gets TKed*

I'm sorry folks, this guy deserves it, no self control. Colony has clearly disrupted the fun factor behind BF2 so I don't see why he didn't deserved it.

                                DUCK

I see the problem from another perspective. AA missiles arent as effective as they should be. At least they have to prevent a pilot approcahing head-on to the AA and come out as a winner. BUT, fact is still a fact, people spend not enough time to master AA as people do who spend mastering the planes. Piloting a plane isnt just "point and shoot" and operating an AA isnt either.
Even if you increase the shoot-hit probability, you wont be satisified because "Sit in, point, shoot, run, collect kills" will STILL not be the right attitude to take down that plane.

Think of it from a newbie pilots perspective. When he started, he crashes. When you start at AA, youre going to miss. When you start at infantry, youre going to get killed.
