That's about the stupidest thing I've heard yet. How is he not working as a team? If he's not dying, he's obviously killing the enemy. And that's helping his team. Helping his team = teamplay.

This crying about whoring is getting old. There is no such thing as whoring. There are weapons in this game and they are meant to be used. Why does it matter if it's 1 guy killing all the enemy or 4 different guys? Killing is killing. I guess half way through the round the guy is just suppose to say "Hey I'm done helping my team, I'll just jump out and let some noob jump in the jet. Yeah that's a great idea, because now the enemy jets will have a chance because they won't have any real threats." Man that is a great idea.

In case you guys don't know, vehicles are supposed to be used in this game and they are there to help you win. If you don't want to play with tanks, jets, etc, go play MOHAA or COD. Obviously you guys aren't meant to play this game.

Actually, I totally agree with you. There is no such thing as "whoring", it is simply an excuse for people to shout when they die. If this "whoring" mentality were true then I could call someone a "Gun Whore" or a "Walking Whore"...its BS.


Great job on your 5 rounds, I fly from time to time, but almost never get 0 deaths. Keep sticking it to them.

No one is debating that. He didn't TK for it, or my guess is he would have been kicked a lot sooner. I have played rounds where I started ground pounding, and noticed no one in the jet, then got in it, and started bombing the **** out of the enemy, and then got called a plane whore. Well tough ****, should have a pilot on your side then.

If your not tking to get into a vehicle and you dont die using it your not a whore. You shouldnt get punished for being good at something. I had a tank for the entire round on Karkand, was I a tank whore or just lucky. It will have different answers from different peoples views. Usually the people getting killed are the unhappy ones.

I don't understand where these people get off calling someone a "whore" just for using equipment that is easily availiable in game. There is no law, no moral code, no obligation to "share" the jets. It is a first come, first serve basis.

If you get killed over and over, tough sh1t, move somewhere else. Usually the only people getting killed by jets are other people sitting around waiting for other jets. I say kudos to this guy: pulling off 100+ scores and no deaths. I can't do that, so that must mean he has SOME sort of skill. And even if he dosn't, who cares? He's still killing and helping his team by reducing YOUR ticket count, and keeping YOUR ground-pounders out of the air.

In conclusion, I say that there is no such thing as "whoring". It is simply and excuse people make up to justify getting owned. I say to those people: Shut up, spawn somewhere else, or get in a damn jet and shoot him down. You use your gun all the time, is THAT considered "whoring"? because by your definition, it is.

i play on the MoonGamers 24/7 Gulf of Oman quite often and have spent many hours in the server while Colony is around. if he's on the opposing team, i don't even try for the jets because i'll end up getting shot down. i have no idea how he can continually pursue enemies as well as he does- nothing seems to shake him.

but, if he's on my team, i make sure to spot every piece of armor, chopper, or jet. after i spot the enemy, Colony usually shows up to make quick work of them. now, tell me that that's not good teamwork for when you're on the ground trying to take a flag.

i'm also a bit of a "planewhore" myself, but you won't see me waiting around on runways for minutes at a time just for a chance at a jet. nor will you see me stand in front of a jet about to take off because someone else got in first. if i have the chance to fly, i will- and i usually do fairly well (around 25+ kills to 1 death recently). but i've yet to actually be kicked or called a "planewhore" when i'm "owning."

on a side note: MoonGamers 24/7 Oman is a great server. it's a rarity that an admin is not watching what's going on, so the smacktard level stays relatively low. they've got rules against attacking uncappable bases with armor/jets/choppers, so the majority of kills that Colony gets there are not "cheap."

lastly: Colony, we need to go up in that SU-34 together again, man. we had a good round awhile back. :)

sharing? Am I supposed to jump out and say ok I flew enough and killed enough ppl now? Teamplay....Every round I flew on for my team we won because I destroyed the other teams armor, Jets, and helos...There is a reason for those gold medals at the end of rounds buddy. Playing the game? Yes I like to win and thats why Im so good at jets cuz no one else has that desire to fight in the air like I do.

Thanks and yes Moongamers is a fun server, I like Gulf of oman, its one of the best maps to me. Sometimes the admins are good, but other times they just start making up rules that were never there to try to stop me.

you're probably going to get that no matter where you play assuming you don't change your play-style. other players (admins included) all have breaking points when they finally have had enough of getting killed by airpower.

for example, playing as USMC against skilled Chinese pilots would make it next to impossible to land on the beach of Wake Island. after 3+ failed attempts, i'd probably start getting ****y, too. this has happened to me on numerous occasions on Wake Island and i eventually disconnect because i get frustrated.

i imagine that you probably killed one of the admins a few too many times and he got frustrated, as well. i'm sure it's not a perma-ban. if it is, i'd take it to their boards at www.moongamers.com and request the ban be lifted. ...or at the very least an explanation...
